Great movie added another to my Melissa McCarthy collection.

Great for your dad and your family and friends and for them kids

The film was very funny. Advertised well. Although, not real world enough for me. I would love to see this less cinematized. The drug dealers trying to kill them was a bit much, they could have easily been written out and just had the two main charactors going at each other constantly, but instead they decided to make it a somewhat love story... I don't know maybe I hold grudges too much, but to me, no one that got their identity stolen and lost that much of their life could ever be that forgiving.

This won't be worth the buy for most folks, and the reviews on this were aweful as well, but I honestly thought it was pretty decent and funny in parts. It could have been better, but the Jason and Melissa are really good and worth the view. The road trip and laughs made this pretty enjoyable. So again, unless a huge fan of one of these actors, its not worth paying full price on, but if went into the 9.99 or under bin, its worth it!

I loved this movie because it brought out the best the two lead actors are known for. This movie continues the trend of me loving Melissa McCarthy in every single movie I have seen her in, yet I cannot stand the show she is actually on that has made her so famous. So if you are debating whether to watch this based on her, please do so as she is truly hilarious when given more freedom of range.

IDENTITY THIEF is fun, hilarious, and crazy. There's a lot of vulgar and crass situations/lines in it, but there are also a ton of hilarious scenes in it. This film is for mature audiences, for sure. Melissa McCarthy is in, so you know there's going to be a lot of foul language. However, Jason Bateman and McCarthy are a great team! They're hilarious together!

Melissa McCarthy solidified her A-List status with this film, which is a pretty decent film with a few good dramatic beats, but nothing more than this. A good cast is the best this film has, which has some characters on here that are superfluous and could have been deleted entirely, a mediocre screenplay and decent but nothing more direction. The picture, shot digitally, has a filmic sheen in most scenes with some shots looking flat and glossy which is a byproduct of digital, but still looks good. The audio is lively with some nice surround use, nice LFE with car crashes and music, but doesn't stretch too far beyond typical comedy soundtrack. Decent extras like a few featurettes, deleted scenes, a gag reel and an unrated cut are nice to have, but could have used a more BTS look including documentaries or commentary, but still happy that I got this for under $10. Anything more is highway robbery or in this films case, identity theft.

Thought it was a simple idea that wouldn't make much of a movie, but they did a great job making more than just a slapstick comedy. Actually makes you feel for the characters and got plenty of laughs. Only reason I didn't rate it a 5 is I wanted some more extras.

When you looking for something funny and a very interesting movie this is the perfect one. I didn't know how much damage a stealing an identity can cause and the consequences. I agree with the theme of the story and the end, finally if you do something bad you pay the price. But after all that is the perfect way to explained us how that business work, great comedy, great actors...Lesson learn..

I couldn't resist buying this because it had McCarthy in it and she is pretty much always hilarious. Great movie, already watched it a few times. The plot also takes place in Colorado which makes it slightly more funny since I am from that area. Get it and laugh!

Although having your identity stolen is no laughing matter, this show is a very funny movie. She's one tough cookie to deal with and he handles it better than most would. I like the way they ended the movie!

It's a funny movie but not one that's a must have right away. If you didn't get a chance to pick it up at the discounted rate its first week I'd hold off till its on sale. But I would definitely recommend picking it up at some point. And excellent date night movie

This movie was funny and never a dull moment! There was so many things it is not possible to describe very much worth the money. The f word is used but other than that very good, (my grandson said I didn't hear that only when Daddy says it) My daughter had told him to go play (she didn't want him so watch it, but we were on vacation with a group that did )

This movie is funny but I was hoping for a bit more. It wasn't as great as I hoped. I thought with the cast it would be much funnier and the plot would be more thought out. Seemed to go for the easy laugh...I hoped for more from Jason Bateman.

This was a really funny movie, I could have done without the F word but still a good story about taking someone as they are being able to see things from a different perspective and understanding the meaning of friendship and loyalty!!

This movie is a funny family movie to watch, the cast worked really well together and it was a funny way of trying to make you more aware what some people are doing in real life so you need to stay alert.

If you need a serious laugh then buy this movie. I haven't seen bad movie starring Melissa McCarthy yet. She is hysterically funny and Jason Bateman isn't bad either.

These two are great together. I had seen this in the theater but didn't know what to expect. Melissa McCarthy's character ends up having a sad backstory that makes you feel sorry for her. But you also feel sorry for Jason's character and mess she puts him through.

The dvd arrived safely and was great.The dvd was funny and kept our attention the entire time. I don't usually repeatedly watch movies but this one was an exception to my rule. Identity Theft was a great comedy movie that showed many times of compassion.
