After about two weeks this freezer just quit working. We lost everything included in the freezer. We threw everything away, and turned the freezer off for 48 hours to try and reset it. It worked for two days and quit working, again. In order to have the product repaired, we would have had to ship it to Chicago, at our cost, and pay $7.00 insurance. This seems to be a pattern with this particular freezer. We are still deciding if we want to try and get it fixed, or just buy a whole new one. Ridiculous that this happens over and over.

I have never taken the time to write a product review. The lousy experience with this machine made me want to warn others. This machine does not work. We threw away 10+ pounds of grass fed beef, gave it a 2nd chance almost ruined another 40 lbs.

After about 3 weeks it just quit working. Best Buy was great though. Since all the meat was lost and I had no need for the freezer, they refunded me the full amount. Hopefully they will cover the lost food.

Starting with the product first.. Don't ever buy it!! We tired 2 different ones, well the second one caused us 2 lose 2 whole deer meat!! The store didn't even try & make up for the trouble we went through! The worst service ever & worst product also!! I will never go 2 Best buy on Garth rd in Baytown, Tx again!!

I love the size but we lost the food we had stored in it when it stopped working after only 4 days. You have a 50/50 chance that it will stop working when you need it the most.

The Igloo Freezer Model FRF452 does NOT have a drain plug, unlike what the manual tells you. I called customer service to question this, and they dropped my phone call THREE separate times after being on hold for several minutes each time. I will never buy Curtis International products again.

We followed all the instructions and the freezer worked great for 8 or 9 days, when it stopped cooling altogether, although it kept running and cycling. We did not catch it for 2 days and lost all of our food.

I bought yesterday waited a bit never got cold had on recommended 3 setting initially waited bout 4 hours still not getting cool at all so I turned up to 5 high setting for a few hours still no chill and unit was getting real hot. I unplugged it and I plan on taking it back today. Not very happy with this purchase whatsoever. Surprised by some of latest reviews. I know it was rated only a 3.8 but it should at least work from the gitgo.Had to give it 1 star even though how does it if it never worked.

Purchaced in november, worked OK. Went on a three week vacation, only to return and find the freezer had failed. Lights were on but the compresser had failed. Lost over $500 worth of food. Do Not buy this product !!

I got this freezer about 11 months ago stopped working over night two days after filling with over 300 dollars in food I'm out of that money and the 170 I spent on this junk freezer RUN AWAY!!!!!! And spend your money on a name brand

replaced my old frigidaire that lasted 20 years with this Piece of junk. Literally lasted less than 1 month no longer works. Best buys says bring it in for repair. what a waste of time and money.

I order it online and when it got home everything turned on but it wouldn't get cold. it never Worked!! It was a piece of garbage a waist of time and money!

stopped working after first week. All my frozen food got bad. Returned the unit to Best Buy and paid a little more and got GE 7.0 I am happy with my new frezer

Maybe I have a lemon, but this thing is in a cool part of my home and is set on max and still will not freeze well. Planning on returning the unit...

I needed a small chest freezer to store breast milk in. It worked great for 7 days but on day 8 I opended it up to find all of the milk had thawed. The "freezer" was the same temp as our fridge! I had to dispose of all of the milk because it cannot be used or refrozen. The loss was far greater than the cost of the fridge.

Stop working in less than 10 months. Lost all my meat.

I let it set level for 24 hours before plugging it in to make sure the refrigerant settled. It never go cold enough to freeze a cup of water. I took it back to Bust Buy for a no hassle return.

Less than one year old and stops working. All the food within wasted. Hopefully Best Buy will honor the products they choose to retail.

Wish I would have read these reviews! It stopped freezing after 2.5 weeks!!
