Actual height 57" not 54-1/4" which ruined my cabinet design. Otherwise ok freezer for the price (if actual dimensions are not important to you :)

We purchased the freezer in early November, only to have the freezer stop working after 5 months of use. When we contacted Igloo, they gave us the run around, telling us to mail the freezer to their offices for $7. Since we weren't quite sure how to mail a 6.9 cubic foot freezer across the country for $7, we contacted Best Buy again. Thankfully, Best Buy's customer service stepped up and allowed us to return the freezer for a credit.

Avoid the IGLOO or Curtis brand at any cost. Freezer broke in warranty period. Wanted me to MAIL it to a warehouse. 110 pounds at my expense OVERNIGHT PLUS 7 DOLLAR HANDLING FEE! Best Buy handled it because I had Blacktie service. Getting a new Frigidaire brand. It's larger and BB even prorated my warranty and free delivery of the new one. Full credit on the broken one too! BEST bUY IS GREAT. CURTIS AND NAMEPLATE IGLOO SUCK!

good value, has no power light,shelves don't go all the way to back, thinks fall off...

We got this about 1 1/2 years ago and I love this freezer! I have not had any problems with it. My parents got this for a Christmas present for me and my husband and it was definitely a great gift. I wanted a upright freezer so I could see what was in it and not have to dig thru it like you do in chest freezers.

Need's better legs is my only complaint. Plus the stores should keep it in stock.

Bought brand new from best buy. It stopped working after month a half, shipment costs to repar as much as its cost brand new. I lost entire fredge of frozen food. Dont buy it.

Purchased this and it started to get frost build-up after the first day. Contacted customer support (manufacturer's not Best Buy's) and they weren't helpful at all. They were abrupt with my wife and their only solution was to "return it to the retailer". We will NEVER be buying a product from this company again.

FREEZER HAS FROSTED UP A LITTLE BIT SINCE PUT INTO USE NOVEMBER 2011

Perfect for extra freezer space for stocking ahead on meat specials, bread, pizza, etc... Shelves aren't real deep, but then most items are in plain view. Used for approximately 6 weeks and it is doing nicely and fairly quiet. Good buy!

It was a good freezer while it lasted, but I am currently getting my money refunded because it lasted a mere five weeks before it no longer cooled. Best Buy is unable to replace it, and I'm told it's discontinued. Probably best to avoid this freezer, or if you want to take your chances (like I did) buy the protection plan.

Plugged unit in, did not cool. Looked at reviews, appears a lot fail in first 6 months. Returned to store and wasquickly refunded purchase.

This was the lowest cost upright freezers we could find. We've had it for 3 months and no problems thus far.

I'm happy with the upright freezer and am pleased so far with it's performance.

I purchased this as an early Christmas gift for my son and daughter-in-law. He proceeded to stock it with beef. much to his horror it failed. thus compromising his purchase of beef.

I had a box type freezer for over 15 years. When I had to replace it, I puchased this Igloo upright figuring it would easier to access the food & know what is it in. Well, that is all well & good but cannot put much on the shelves due to the constant frost build up.

Poorly constructed. Very cheap handle already wiggles... Off-white interior color makes the unit look dirty and its funky smelling... cant put my finger on the smell but its not a "new car smell" more like rotten food. Cannot store much in this freezer either. Its very small. If you buy bulk and want to store it in a freezer do not buy this one...

came out of the box dented and couldnt be level in anyway, only good thing about it was how easy it was to return it and get a refund from best buy

the freezer is great for the price. it works very well on event the normal or moderate setting. very nice
