My nephew is nonverbal autistic and his mother could not find this movie anywhere. I looked right into Best Buy and it was there ready to be delivered to my door! He was so happy to get this just in time for Christmas!!

It's a nice take on the familiar story, though adding a bit of fluff to fill a movie run time versus the television half hour. I will say I was a little disappointed in the watering down of the Grinch. He's no longer a cold, heartless being, but rather a little misunderstood and lonely. He doen't have that villainous soul that one would expect. Truth be told the character Gru from the first Despicable Me film is more sinister than the Grinch here. The fact that he no longer is a true grouch who has his heart changed weakened the story for me a bit. Still, it's a charming and enjoyable film that does have a little heart, just not one that grows three times its size. Instead it's a lonely heart living a sheltered life that finally opens its door. A lovable story that is more of a gentle sloping character arc than climbing a mountain.

I love this movie, its even better than the original. The story is filled out more, with so much detail. This movie has so many side jokes. And Max is even more lovable than the original special. Its a must for you christmas movie collection.

This is isn’t bad considering how many Grinch movies are out there. The voice actors do a great job and give these animated characters life. A little exploration into The Grinch’s past is pretty neat. It’s definitely worth watching at least once. The case is awesome! I prefer to clean cover to this Steelbook. That was the selling point for me. I like The Grinch as the main focus of the cover. And of course the green. Grab this collectible or at least see this version once, especially during the holidays.

Grinch looks and sounds great on UHD 4K blu-ray. The colors pop and the HDR adds extra definition and contrast not seen in the blu-ray version (also included in this pack). The only complaint I have is one leveled against a lot of 4K blu-ray's is that this is actually an upscaled 2K release. So while the movie looks great and sharp it's only higher resolution than the standard blu-ray. But all around I'm okay with this movie. I think the film is great and a nice retelling of the original 1966 TV movie.

We brought this as a birthday gift for our 4 year old Grandson because he discovered it while channel surfing on our tv and watched the trailer for it and told us that he wanted it for his birthday. We are glad that he came across this as it turned out to be a unbelievably fantastic animated family movie that was well produced and structured. This is a must have for any family with children, trust me, you will not be disappointed. Got a great deal on it at Best Buy, highly recommend.

This is a great kids movie, I hate that streaming services always take it down during the holidays so that you'll have to rent or buy. I finally bought it and I'm happy that I can stream it digitally whenever I want now.

As a fan of The Grinch,I was skeptical about this movie at first.I decided to buy the Steelbook version because it's a really nice looking Steelbook,and I collect those anyways.To the movie,I really enjoyed it even though it was a slightly different take on the classic story,but not by much really,and it was a really nice story.The animation is top notch,especially on Blu-Ray.I am 42 years old and still love animated movies,and I would definitely recommend this movie for all ages.

I absolutely Love this movie!!! Everything about this movie is great!! I only wish that I would have waited one more week for it because I paid full price for it and the following week it went on sale for $8.99.

Such a fun movie! It looks great on 4k blu ray. The HDR really amps up the colors. The textures in the snow are out of this world. If you have a soundbar or surround sound you are in for a treat, too.

What a great version of the story of the Grinch! It gives a back story of how the Grinch became so miserable and why he dispiesed Christmas. This in a holiday must add for your DVD collection.

I really enjoyed this movie! I grew up with the animated Grinch movie, and I have never been very enthusiastic about the variations and knock-offs that have been created. However, Illumination is brilliant with their humor and references that both kids and adults can enjoy. I also liked the way the Grinch was portrayed in this movie. I won't spoil it if you haven't seen it, but it's a little different.

I was very iffy about this movie because I loved the other grinch movies so much. I thought they were going to pretty much ruin the grinch since it didn't follow the same old story line. My kids loved it. It kept our inteest because we didn't know how this story was going to go. It was worth taking a chance on this purchase. It was refreshing seeing a new twist on an old traditional favorite.

My 3 year old daughter loves this movie. It also teaches how to be thiughtful, kind, caring, and loving. The animation is beautiful in 4K. The story is good with characters you won’t forget as well as hilarious. They could have shaved off about 15 minutes, but outside of that I would recommend to anyone with children or just fans of the original book or CG animation.

I was surprised at how good this movie was. I always loved the original story, so was leary about seeing the second one. This movie brought the Grinch up to date with liestyles as they are today. The kids in my family loved it! It was very well written and had great animation. I will still always love the first one most, but this was a very good storyline!

If you're expecting the original Grinch or the Jim Carrey Grinch you will be disappointed, If you're looking for a more kid-friendly, funny Grinch with a Minions feel, this is right up your alley. My infant son loves this movie and tho this may not be my favorite rendition of the Grinch, it's overall a good family movie sprinkled with a little of the old Grinch.

As a loyalist to the Jim Carrey version, I was a bit hesitant and wasn't even sure I would like this version. However, I was very wrong. It was so cute, and a different retelling! Granted, the Grinch was a lot less harsh than the original cartoon and Jim Carrey version, but it was so enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised at this "reimagining" if you will.

Good movie with a nice spin in the Grinchy classic. Benedict Cumberbatch does a great job as the Grinch. Great movie for anyone of all ages!

The Grinch's Heart may be 2 sizes too small but Mine was about 10 Sizes too Big after watching this movie! The Original Grinch has always been my favorite Christmas Movie but after watching this version of The Grinch, I have a New Favorite!!! The Story is Great, the Sound is Superb, and the Picture is Stunning, Just a Overall Merry Movie!!!
