The Grinch is a timeless classic for the whole family. My in-laws, my kids, and I loved it. A must see, my kids loved it so much they keep watching it over and over and every time I see it I find something new I didn’t see the first time.

The original version and Jim Carey’s take on this are pretty hard to beat. So going into watching this the bar was set pretty high. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It’s different enough to give it a watch. My kids enjoy it as well.

Even though Christmas was two months ago, my grandkids really enjoyed this movie. The animation was great and, of course, the story is a classic: The Grinch goes from grumpy and disliking Christmas to a real softee with lots of heart.

This movie was great a bit different from the original and the Jim Carey movie but it will start to grow on you the more you watch it. Another addition to the Holiday Hit parade of movies and it in 4k total upgrade on picture quality

I was really on the fence with this one. I didn't think we needed another Grinch movie till I saw this one. Great remake and Benedict Cumberbatch didn't try to out do any other Grinch version he just made it his own.

Kids like the Christmas movies another to add to the collection

Bought this movie because the 3 year old granddaughter fell in love with the original one and wanted to see if this one could hold the magic just as well just updated to this time period. It is just as good as the original version.

A bitter “grinch” plots to steal Christmas from the local village. Great new spin by illumination. The grinch himself is a whole lot friendlier. He even has friends in this one... an overweight reindeer! Must see for every family.

If you are like me, and need a break from trolls and minions, pick this movie up! Very fun for the family! Fantastic visual, great actors for the voices, great telling of a classic story. Kids will love it and adults will laugh.

The Grinch is a Christmas classic and this version does not disappoint. We were a bit skeptical when we purchased the movie. The kids have watched it several times so that answered our skepticism. Go ahead and buy with confidence!

Like the live action Jim Carrey version, this adaptation attempts to widen the short Dr. S. original story by padding the motivations and the actions during the heist. The Jim C. version had a more cynical take on Whoville, but JC made his Grinch more comedic than Benedict C. makes his. A worthwhile take to check out for yourself is my final recommendation.

This movie is the best version of the Grinch since the original. It is definitely better than the Jim Carrey version and is great for family movie night, especially when we are all wearing matching Grinch pajamas.

My favorite movie of all time and was very good and ok

I honestly didn't think this movie would be as good as it was. I should've known the creators of Despicable Me wouldn't let down. I think it is definitely worth a watch. My favorite character is a very minor one, the goat lol

My 3 year old grandson is obsessed with the Grinch right now. We actually went in the store looking for something else but he spotted Mr. Grinch and we were not leaving without it. He loved the movie; watched it over and over.

Illumination's "Grinch" entry is probably more comparable to their efforts on "The Lorax", using fairly well-worn source material and filling out the story with additional details. Some of these fills are hits and others are misses, but the heart of the story is solid, and the clean animation will make viewers cringe at the original.

I have every movie, cartoon, etc. of the Grinch and I go to Universal Resort every year to watch the live Grinch performance. This film lived up to my expectations - it continues to inspire all to let their hearts grow larger.
