    Back with a vengeance

After taking time off and doing side projects in between, Disturbed are finally back. Immortalized is very indicative of a band hungry to feed the beast. Rather than producing it themselves with guitarist Dan Donegan or Johnny K, they opted for in-demand producer Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, In This Moment, Five Finger Death Punch). While the production is excellent, don't be shocked if it sounds more like Five Finger Death Punch with David Draiman's vocals, and I say that because it seems like they went for that style production rather than something more like their own. Either way, I recommend the CD.

four-year hiatus and still rockin' strong

After a four-year hiatus, the metal band Disturbed has officially made a comeback with their sixth studio album. Starting off the album strong with about a one-minute track — “The Eye of the Storm” — the record begins with a guitar solo by the one-and-only Dan Donegan, who is known for his control when playing. The band shows fans that the wait for a new album was worth it as the music progresses. The song “Immortalized” has solid lyrics about the comeback, which fits well as the title track. With their classic sound, the band brings in a new acoustic vibe filled with quiet, chilling tones during the cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s “Sound of Silence.” Disturbed made a grand comeback with an album that appeals to old and new fans.

Its been a LOOOOONG time since the last Disturbed cd. Some people may have even moved on & forgotten about the band? Some people may have thought they broke up? Let me tell you they are back & better than ever. Sometimes a long break can re-invigorate a band & I think that happened here. People forget how much of an impact this band had in the 2000`s. You instantly know its a Disturbed song when you hear it. Lead singer David D. is singing & screaming like never before. If you love the first single..you`ll love the rest of this cd!!

It's great to hear the triumphant return of one of the best metal bands out today. And, boy, is it triumphant! There are some tracks that remind me of old school "Sickness" with memorable riffs and gritty vocal work. But there are some new-style instant classics as well. If nothing else, it's worth the purchase for the hauntingly beautiful cover of "The Sound Of Silence".

Wow! Just wow! After being on an extended hiatus Disturbed has come back with a vengeance. This album offers a veritable journey from start to end. Perhaps the most surprising track of all is their cover of "The Sound of Silence." The dark, deep, and moody vocals rise in edginess as the track progresses and culminates in stunning finality.

Disturbed have stuck to a consistency with their albums. They haven't changed up much over the years, and they have no reason to. Immortalized takes their signature sound and brightens it up just a tad, but leaving nothing heavy out of the mix. However, in one of the biggest surprises in their career, they threw in a beautiful cover of Simon and Garfunkle's Sound of Silence.

Glad to have another release from one of my favorite bands. Their music seems to satisfy even the most discriminating ears. The cover version choices continue to amaze, most times being better than the original and this time is no exception. Sounds of Silence has a ghostly haunting vibe to it, making one want to listen to it over and over again.

After taking an extended break, Disturbed is back, and better than ever! Immortalized brings a fresh sound to a band that has a very signature sound, and it is a welcoming change. Heavy riffs and thunderous drums triumph. The Sound of Silence cover may be the best cover of the decade for any Rock artist of this generation!

I wanted this for the remake single "sound of silence" and actually enjoyed to entire cd when I listened to it from start to finish... I thought the whole thing was nicely done and enjoyed listening to this cd. Have to say that the sound of silence song is amazing... the original is best but this one is pretty darn close....

I have listened to this album over a dozen times and I'm guaranteed to listen to it a few dozen more! Out of all Disturbed's discography, this is my favorite album, though I mustn't discount the quality of the remaineder of their work! If you like any of their work, you'll probably like all of it!

OMG! The cover of The Sounds of Silence makes my hair stand on end! I've always loved this song and never thought Disturbed could do it this good. Not only is this track great but the others are good too. (Who'd thought a 55 year old classic & hair band rock fan would be listening to Disturbed???)

after listening to Immortalized, I had to see what the rest of the album had to offer. So I went to Best Buy (because they have awesome prices) and snatched the latest album of Disturbed. Good stuff.

Although their cd's Asylum and The Sickness are more listened to by me, this cd must be a favorite. They include at least one cover song which is recognizable and with Disturbed it gives the song new dimensions.

I am a fan of this band, so I had to get the cd when it came out. I was curious how the music would compare to the previous cds. The music as always is excellent, and a little more diverse than on previous cds.

Phone is a great size, easy to use, camera is great and sharp. Apps are easy to get to and the middle button behavior works well. There are many features I still need to learn about as I just got this phone! Beautiful rose color was a Best Buy exclusive.

I don't often get to hear anything from Disturbed on my local radio stations, this album is really good. I personally enjoy the cover of "The Sound of Silence." Absolutely amazing. Would recommend this for anyone who likes the alternative rock.

Nice new cd by Disturbed, some twists but overall a nice effort. The sound of silence was a bold choice, not my favorite track but they did a good job. All in all a good effort and a bit of a surprise since I personally wasn't expecting anything new from these guys.

Disturbed hiatus is over! While this album isn't their best, it is a disturbed album, which will never disappoint. The overall feel of the album isn't as hard and aggressive as most of their other selections, but the lyrical depth is as, if not more, thought prevoking.
