I haven't needed the squad yet but it's nice to have the option come with my MacBook purchase.

We get to Geek Squad to get some advice and....the guy is reading the direction book....

didn’t use it, but I’m sure there are plenty of people this is a valuable service too.

I'm not sure if this is worth it. Some techs are great, while others are sub par.

I had gotten this as an extra add-on and did not know I even received the service free until a week later. Unless you've been living under a rock or you're really nervous plugging in your appliances or electronics, you do not need this at all these days.

The geek squad are great and help with any questions you may have.

Did a very good job in helping understand and set up the FitBit!

Excellent and really helpful. I like it a lot. It is the best.

Seems we tend to often be disappointed with the Geek Squad. At least for us, they seem to always do as little as possible (with computer we had horrible results). This set up was same story.....Minimum setup was done and they refused to answer questions.

Most of the time we are not using this service. Anyway, its safe to buy this

Not lot of experience fixing hard problems, only for common and easy tasks

Terrible the guy himself admitted to not know about the watch he was trying to figure it out during the set up my girlfriend ended up telling him how to do it his escuse his not an Apple guy. Gave 1 star because I had to should get zero!!

Never used this yet unfortunately. I'm sure they for good work though.

I never use this service even though it's free with hardware purchase.

I bought a warranty and when I needed help no one was able to help.

They do their job and in my area they're decently good service.

I would have given 0 stars but that is not an option. I bought my first Zagg screen protector for my daughters Apple Watch and tried to put it on by myself. It wouldn't stay on so I returned it. I went to Best Buy and bought the more expensive version and paid for geek squad to put it on. A few days later my daughter said it had fallen off and her watch was scratched. She later found it on the floor. When I went to Best Buy they said they could only refund the charge for putting it on. I had done every thing that I could do to protect the screen that was now scratched. I am now caught in shady area of no one wants to pay to replace my screen unless I pay for Apple care to replace it. Best Buy should stand behind the products they sell and the installation of those products.

It all depends on what your using the service for. I needed to know if my computer was broke or if I just needed a new charger cord. He told me it would be cheaper to get another laptop. He didn't even check it. But wanted to "recycle it for me" yeah right!

No rating on this one I have not used this service as of yet.

Geek squad is helpful sometimes, and sometimes they are not.
