Anyone with a slant against British television should try to overlook it for this one. If you are looking for a zombie horror story this is not it. However it is great for what it is. This turns the zombie genre on its ear. It brings the zombies back to "life" and asks questions about how they would deal with their deaths and what they had done as zombies. How can they live among those they left behind and will the living allow them to, and etc. It is much deeper than the usual gore-fest. It isn't the zombie apocolypse but what happens after. It is a well thought out new spin I truely recommend.

It takes the Typical Zombie Gore Fest type of Movie and Twist It into a Post Zombie Movie with Zombies Being Re-Civilized ...but now They will have to live with the Repercussions, Images and Deep Remorse from the things that they have done while Zombified. The Series IS a Real Morality Play on what one would do - IF They could Actually reprieve some sort of normal life back for a previously Zombified Family Member, Sibling, Child, Mate or Lover. There is also an underling homosexual part to the Main story that isn't really stated or bluntly put out there but it IS subtly broached. The Bottom Line ...This IS - a Series that Is Beautifully Filmed & Acted and It’s Definitely worth watching, not just once …but it's a series you can come back to for re-watching. Cheers, Drabo. B-}

This is a gift for my Zombie Mom (and myself). Other good Zombie Series to watch- "The Walking Dead" (USA) "The Returned" (FRENCH, USA subtitles, but it is SO AWESOME!)
