Although this follow-up to the first Independence Day film, is not nearly as good, it does have some good moments. Really well done special effects. At $8.99 for a steelbook, a real value.

This movie is great, has amazing FUNNY lines, fast action, really sets a nice pace. The sound is great, can't say enough good things about the sound, it has what you expect for the money you spend on a disk of this magnitude, the money they spent was well placed. You get high quality content. The CGI is so realistic you forget its CGI and just fall into the story and lose yourself in the emotion and staging of the drama and action.

This movie had high expectations to live up to 20yrs after the first movie. Overall, I think they did a very good job trying to meet those expectations

Missed this one in theater. Glad to have bought the DVD. This sequel is not as good as the first episode but still glad to have bought and viewed.

My biggest disappoint was there was no Will Smith but, it was still a good Sci-fi action flick with alot of the original cast members in a least 1 scene.

Knew it was gonna be hard to follow the original and not be corny. Wasnt the worst sequent I've ever seen but it could have been better.

Independence day once again delivered a non stop action sequence movie that was full of action scenes, as all of the series has delivered to date. Anytime you incorporate aliens into a movie, you will always have a good one if it's done right. Independence day was done right, and they could make a dozen movies in the series and still suck me in. Great movie to own.

This film takes place twenty years after the first invasion. It does a great job of tying the two together. I really enjoyed it.

Not as grab you by your seat as the original, but still a good movie. Loved Jeff Goldblum as ever, with his quirky mannerisms.

The sequel lost the idea of the original and tried to build a new series. It was interesting but kind of an insult to the original.

I have come to enjoy this movie. Initially I thought this second installment was not as good as the first. It has grown on me now.

But this was still a pretty good action Sci-Fi flick. Great special FX and looked crystal clear in 4K! Sound was window shaking too!

The follow up to Independence Day was ok, but it did leave you wanting more. But it is a great family night movie.

Nothing better then Independence Day. I enjoyed the movie but I think the original will always be the best.

Since Independence Day was one of those collectible movie I thought I would try the sequel. Couldn’t beat the price

Bought this as a set of steel books. So I have a set of Independence Day 1 & 2 Blue Ray. Timeless!!

Amazing 3d action, Will Smith could have elevated this movie but it’s about as pop-corny as the first one.

My son wanted this movie so I bought this for him and he liked it
