A good action packed movie. Looks great on my 4K TV.

I got this movie only for the 3D. Not as good as the first one, but has some good visual effects. Since there is a limited quantity of 3D movies out there, I saw this movie on discount and decided to take it home to take advantage of my 3d projector.

Good Movie we like it better then the first one, not as silly has a more serious tone

If you have seen the other Independence Day movie, then you will fine this one very interesting since it gives it a good twist to the original version keeping you entertained throughout the movie.

This was just the first test of my 4K TV, Receiver and Bluray. This was a "system test" and I wanted some high resolution nature/underwater films to further evaluate. Family helped with this for Christmas.

The Timless SciFi Classic Come to Blue Ray. At least it's new to me on Blue Ray. And worth the upgrade, no doubt. Alien apocalypse fun for everyone!

I liked the movie, but it was not as good as the first one. I think the three main young pilots distracted from the movie. Maybe they tried to appeal to the younger crowd, but it didn’t quite work. Still, I recommend the movie.

I don't know what I was expecting from this film, but I really thought they would bring something a bit more original. It's worth the watch, but I don't think its memorable at all. Decent CGI with the flight sequences.

Best Buy provided the lowest price for this Blu-ray/dvd combo. As a movie Independence Day resurgence isn’t as great as the original Independence Day, but it still is a fun watch.

Independence Day: Resurgence delivers what you might expect in an action movie sequel, but there is nothing special about it. It is okay to watch once but I don't think I'll be re-watching it any time soon.

A huge fan of sci-fi action movies, specially David Goldblum, Bill Pullman and Will Smith (sadly not in this movie). Good movie for the price, steel case and digital copy as bonus!

Watching this on 4K with a home theater system on a large tv is just awesome. Seeing it, hearing it and feeling it. Yes feeling. Just awesome if you have a nice home theatre.

Not! This movie is the next in the series from the original Indepdence day with Will Smith. Although its set in the more futuristic time, its a great watch for any day/night.

I know this film may have not done as well as the first in the box office. But if your a big fan of the original then this is for you and hopefully we get a third film!

Sat down with a bag of popcorn with much anticipation. It was a great movie with special effects, eye popping crispness in visuals and mind blowing sound. However, it appeared to have lost some of its luster in the 21st Century. We've been bombarded with so many blockbuster movies over the years Independence Day: Resurgence (dvd) came close to being a "B" movie in comparison. At times, the acting appeared flat and some of our original cast from 1996 were not as exciting. Yet, I would recommend this film to everyone who want to enjoy a perfect sci-fi movie, on a Saturday afternoon with a bag of popcorn and a box of Goobers. Enjoy.

a fun movie that sets for (perhaps) another movie - with the younger generation - it will never be a Star Trek, but then it wasn't meant to be - I imagine the movie was to simply make a movie but it was exciting in most parts and silly in others - but a nice watch just the same - oh... it defines nepotism, fear without cause - definite fast elimination before realizing the consequences - unless you are into a no-brainer from time to time with happy endings and moving on unshackled - not sure if you would enjoy it - David and his Dad are classic figures - I happen to like Jeff's muppett manners - a signature do in many movies

The sequel to ID4 is a little late coming, but is still a fun, enjoyable ride. We watch the first one every summer, and will now add this to that list!

I was a big fan of the first Independence Day movie so that’s why when I saw this I had to get it and especially at the price. The movie itself was soso though but a good add to my collection

As sequels go this isn't the worst I have ever seen. It was enjoyable to watch and had some funny moments. Maybe a bit perposterous at times but then the first movie had those moments as well. If it had Will Smith back then it might have been alot differnet. They want to franchise this movie but I'm not sure about the younger cast and if they have longevity. There was a good chemistry among the actors in the first movie. They try to recapture some of that here but at times it feels a little off or forced. But if you loved Independence Day then you have to see IDR to see where the story has come too.

In this sequel to ID4-Resurgence is very similar to the original Independence Day but our characters are 20 years older. Great performances by Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, and Judd Hirsch. Willl Smith's character doesn't return but his son does to take on a similar role. The special effects, editing, score, and photography are fantastic. Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin re-teamed for this picture. Its a good sequel, I missed this one in the theatres but any disaster movie usually gets and keeps my attention, no matter how good or bad. If you liked the original its worth seeing the sequel.
