what was cool about the game was I got to chose to be good or evil. when the game was finished I got to go back and do the opposite of what I started with so that was one of the best things about the game. This video game paralleled Residence Evil. So if you liked that game then you will enjoy playing this one.

I honestly thought I would be getting Prototype over this game, but after playing the Infamous demo I was sold. The game plays really well and the graphics are hot. The way you can climb and land on just about anything is sick and then the choice to play as good or bad is like the fudge topping. I've played both sides and it's so different on both that it's almost like getting too games for the price of one. The game isn't too short and takes a while to beat (like all open world games should be) and it's not just complete chaos. This is a really well put together game and I'd definitely recommend to anyone!

You are a chacter named Cole. Cole is a bike messenger. In the beggining of the game you are assaigned to deliver a package wich causes an explosion that deystroys 6 blocks of the city. Cole is the only survivor of the explosion. Then falls unconsciousness. He wakes up two weeks later, with electric based powers. But Empire City has fallen into chaos; without police, gangs have taken over areas of the city, and a plague has infected many of the residents causing the city to be quarantined by the government. You can choose to use your powers for good and gain repect of the civillians( which help you out later in the game), or you can use them for evil for bigger, stronger, and better powers. It's up to you how you use them.

Action packed game with a creative story line that is easy to follow, yet offers challenging game play at the same time.

I bought this game after watching several videos about the game play online and thought it was an interesting concept. Once I opened the package and installed it however, I was pleasantly surprised to see the storyline was well thought out and held my interest, and the actual game play far exceeded my expectations. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys the first person genre but is bored with the entirely overdone "run and gun" style games...

This game is great because its storyline is engaging, and because it has enough side missions to keep the player playing for a long while.

Had a captivating story line, with great game play. Controls take a minute to get used to, and are kind of like a faster paced Resident Evil control style (where you have to aim to shoot). The story is a little short, but the side missions are generally pretty fun. Kharma system leaves you with lots of replay options.

Excellent open world game with a compelling plot and unique/ interesting characters. The story is told through comic like cut scenes, in game cut scenes, and through various recordings (dead drops) / radio communications. Its a pretty engaging way to present the story and I enjoyed it. However, I will mention some of the in game cut scene animations feel a tiny bit outdated in light of newer games such as uncharted 2; its nothing to worry about but its still noticeable. As far as missions go; there are lots of them with a good amount of variety between them. A few of the missions can feel a bit tedious but it doesn't detract from the overall game. Overall the game is very fun to play (especially towards the end when you have all your powers + upgrades). My favorite power has to be the final power (I wont spoil what it is) but Its very fun to use. The satellite up-link side missions are very fun as well. The game has a great system called karma which in essence determines what type of powers you have and when you have them as well as how the story/characters/city react to you the player. Throughout the game you have choices to make; choices that are either good or evil. Depending on which path you choose (good/evil) your karma will change accordingly. It really makes you think about what type of person you want to be. At its new price point this game is definitely worth the purchase.

Bought this game as my first PS3 game and glad I made the choice. Bought a PS3 and so I decided to buy an adventure game for the first title to keep me busy till I bought more. I remember reading the review about the game when it first came out and thinking that it was something to check out. Well, I am glad, I went on my hunch. The game is awesome. It's an open map a la GTA so you can explore around and do missions to develop the story and character. What's cool about the story line is that it gives you the option to make decisions at some exchanges that either let you play as a Hero or Bad guy. The missions are moderately difficult for the casual player. Though, the AI tends to be a little slow at times. And though, progressively challenging, the missions tend to get repetitive. But it's a blast if you want to feel a little "god-like" and beat some baddies or goodies (if you choose) around.

WOW just WOW. I feel so bad for this game. It is so poorly advertised. When I watched the commercial for this game near its launch, it felt like a very redundant game. Hateful lies by the 360 fanboys did not help either. Nonetheless, this game received pretty good reviews from many different sites and with price lowering to $30, felt obligated to give it a try. Only after playing 4-6 hours into this game, I became of the variety it has to offer. I loved the game so much that after finishing the game, I felt obligated to finish it again. Why? Because in this game you can power up as a good or bad person. And your choices give your powers distinctive characteristics. An example, both as good and as a bad guy you can use power granade. But as a good guy your granade can trap enemies, but as an evil person it split into mini granades which cover more area and do more damage. This is only the tip of the iceburg. I think there are at least 6 different electric powers that have different good and bad characteristics and then there are 7 other powers which are shared between good and bad, but are still awesome none the less. Also your choices also affect the events in the story and of course the final outcome. To begin with this game has AN AWESOME STORY and having such variation with good and bad powers will make you play the game again to learn the flip side of the story. Also you have different missions as a good and bad guys. AND BELIEVE ME completing these mission will have huge impact on your story and make things very interesting. Being good and evil not only affect the story, but also how people treat you in the open world of this game. For example, being good with make things slightly difficult in the beginning, but as people love you, they will help you out towards the end. If you are bad guy, YOU WILL HAVE THE MOST DESTRUCTIVE POWERS, but people will be hostile towards you making the game harder towards the end. Needless to say this game has SMOOTH GRAPHICS and AWESOME OPEN WORLD gameplay. What you won't expect is VARIETY IN POWER, MISSIONS, ENEMIES and MOST IMPORTANTLY AWESOME JUST AWESOME BOSSES. With the lowered price and FREE GIGABLADES download, THIS IS A MUST OWN GAME.
