Inside Llewyn Davis is the Coen Brothers’ fantastic representation of the New York folk music scene before Bob Dylan. The music is great and the bonus features on this Criterion release are amazing.

Frankly it's criminal that Captain Phillips, Philomena and American Hustle all received best picture nods at the Oscars while the Cohen Bros. latest effort, Inside Llewyn Davis was snubbed. It's a heartbreaking and beautiful time capsule that takes audiences back to 1960's Greenwich village New York where a young man navigates the perils of trying to break into the music business. The performances are excellent and the soundtrack is top notch. This is truly a gem that has flown under most people's radar do to limited press and no love from various award ceremonies.

The Coen brothers have crafted another original, stunning film. Oscar Issac is superb as Llewyn, the perpetually unlucky musician who seems destined to never catch a break. A great movie to add to a collection. Looks and sounds really great on blu ray.

If you play or love american folk music, this is for you. Great performances both musically and theatrical. Some classic scenes that you will never forget. All around enjoyable film.

The Coen brothers deliver another great movie that looks great on Blu-Ray and will have music lovers at their feet. Goodman is great in this witty folk film.

This is one of those movies where you watch and wait for something to happen, and you find yourself at the end without ever arriving at that point. But, if you like folk music, there are some pretty good songs. Other then that, this one's a pass.
