I was hesitant at first to see this movie at the movies. Big mistake. I really liked this chalet 2 version of Insidious. The build up and plot was very well put together. The way the director combined chapter 2 with chapter 1 makes you feel anxious to know more. All I can say to those that seen the first version you must see the second version of Insidious.

You know that there had to be a #2 at the end of Insidious. This picks up at the end of the last one and has many subtle story points that come together at the end and make sense. The only inexplicably gratuitous plot point is the time travel. I'll watch this over and over. Hint: the black dressed lady in the first movie - you'd never guess.

It definitely is worth a watch I liked it a lot, not as much as the first, but it was def good. Obviously it goes right from where it left off in the first one, and a lot of things that gave you question marks in the first one, finally make sense, (somewhat.)

There are many characteristics which I enjoyed in the first movie such as all of the creepy images and eerie setting. The Insidious 2 however had more action and still maintained it's scary approach to the audience. Great movie at a great price!

Insidious was an awesome movie, and its sequel is just as good. Like The Conjuring, these films will make you jump and give you chills, even though there are no scenes of extreme violence like many scary movies. There's no serial killer wielding an axe, etc. It's just well written, creepy horror.

Most sequels are not that great, with some exceptions of course. But I found that this one was pretty good in comparison to the first. Good jump scares and great acting. The story line makes more sense as they dive completely into the backstory in this one. Good watch!

Insidious Chapter 2 is a very solid sequel to a great horror film. It is just as creepy at times and still has genuine scares. Insidious has been established as an accomplished and beloved franchise with this one.

Equally as eerie as the first film, with some plot twists and explanations for the first film events in a prequelish sort of way. Explains a few questions you may have had with the original and is haunting at the same time.

a great addition for this series continues right were the last one finished, patrick wilson is awesome as usual!! good plot for a horror movie and not dependent on gore for fright!! just enough humor to watch with everyone!!

This movie was ok , but the first part was way better , the movie producers need to stop trying to make sequels to all the movies , it doesn't work all the time , but it was a little scare in some chapters.

Insidious: Chapter 2 is decidedly short on the tension and surprises that made its predecessor so chilling and very engaging.

This is the second of the 2 Insidious movies and I like the way it ends. I did get a good price for both 1 and 2 so it's worth buying both. The story and the effects are pretty good.

Horror sequels tend to range from awesome to awful, with little wiggle room. I thought this was one of the rare cases where I found the movie solid but not better than the first.

What a great movie this is. I love how this movie starts, it continues from the last movie and it still holds up from the first one. The story is excellent and the cast is amazing to. I need to buy the third one too. A must have.

I love scary movies and this one is cool and atmospheric and a bit weird. It is not the best and those who prefer gore, slashers, or who don't like supernatural scares will probably not love it.

Usually sequels don't live up to the first movie, but this one does! As many freaky and scary parts as the first Insidious or maybe more, and it also ties in story plots to the first one as well.

Good movie, if you see the first one you definitely have to see the second one. If you have not seen the first one I would not recommend seeing this,Because it will be confusing, it has a lot to do with the first one.

Insidious Chapter 2 offers more background and delves into the Further more. It's interesting to see more of that. Sequels are usually hit or miss but this one was a hit.

Loved this movie when I saw it in theaters! It has scenes that makes you jump and feel nervous because you don't know what's gonna happen next! Good actors and storyline

If you like scary movies don't miss this one. I wasn't disappointed with this sequel, it kept me entertained until the end. The Blu-Ray includes more special features than the DVD.
