    Had no problem what so ever installing this USB to RS-232 serial port on a HP Stream Notebook running Windows 10 Home Edition. When your home automation project requires an older COM port, this one is a sure winning bet in my book. Now I can use my HP Stream for trouble shooting older Automation devices when I'm in the field.

    To start with I doubt this product had any issues if you have an older computer to use. By I was unsuccessful in multiple attempts to get this to work on a windows 10 computer. The device did not appear to be detective, just doesn't have driver support.
