Great cable which, unlike the Tripp-Lite cable I first bought does not require drivers which are not compatible with the latest software.

This cable allows you to connect a device with an RS-232 (DB9) serial port to a USB hub or USB-equipped PC or Mac.
Perfect cable to have on hand when you need to console into a switch or a router.

I picked this up when I bought an HD OTA antenna. I wanted to make sure I had enough cable length so I could position the antenna for the best reception possible. This worked perfectly and allowed me to place the antenna in a location that enabled me to receive 21 local channels.

I needed this to hook up an old Wacom tablet. Finding the right drivers and everything I needed to make it work was a bit of a challenge, but I expect that when trying to use an old product on a new system. This was exactly what I needed.

Although it was the length stated on the box it really is not a convenient length to work with. Your computer has to be positioned right next to the RS233 port of whatever you are working on. No other length was available to buy.

I had an old peripheral that used a DB9 serial cable to connect to the computer and was tired of keeping an ancient computer around just for the device. Fortunately this cable worked like a charm and I was able to hook it up to a USB port with no problems!
