Good cable for the money worked as desired not the highest quality but within range of expectation for the money and meets need may not last but will work for now

The Signia serial adapter cable is the only one that I found that would allow us to connect to the computer to program our radio. Well worth the investment.

Nice for when you have a modern laptop that no longer has a 9-pin RS-232 port. Some of us still need the old comm ports for work use.

This item is called a PDA/Serial Adapter Cable BUT it only has a 1 foot long cable which is NOT long enough to be useful. This means that if you buy this $20 item, you'll need to buy the 6 foot cable extension for another $25 to make it complete and useful.

Dumb part - But when you need it you need it. BB having it in stock is what I needed, so 15 minutes later we were able to move forward with our project.

Serial/USB cable seems to works just fine in place of serial connector where pins have broken off in connector.
