USB to Serial for configuring console based equipm

I did a "buy on-line" and pickup in store to get in and out quick. The lady behind the counter does't understand that this process is done to get in and out quickly as she was very pre-occupied lolligagging with her colleague. This item works great under MAC OS X, however you will need to go out and grab the correct driver. DB9 into machine, USB into laptop and transferred designs. Plug and play feature worked just fine.

Works well, bad instructions

Downside is the included instructions are terrible and instruct to go to a website to download the driver, but there's no driver on the website!!! You have to use windows update to find and install it. Once you do that it'll work great!

No matter what I tried I couldn't get that cable to work. I installed the new Insignia cable and it worked perfectly. No problems at all. I just down loaded the driver and it worked immediately. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Successfully used for serial console connection to Juniper and Cisco data comm equipment using Putty. Also able to use with Cardinal 28.8 serial attached modem and Windows10 fax utility.

Worked out of the box, no drivers needed. Would definitely recommend. I have no idea what some reviews meant about only working on low baud rate. Worked fine on default 9600.
