Good adapter - just what I needed and is good quality at a reasonable price. Did the trick!

Pretty straight forward headphone jack adapter. It didn't cause any sound issues or have any trouble with fit.

My husband is using it to attach a bluetooth audio receiver that has a 1/8" audio plug to his old metal detector. This is so that he can use a wireless bluetooth headset with a previously wired only attachment. It is working out as planned and has made a cumbersome situation more enjoyable to use. He has tried everything he came across to make the headphone connection on his detector better. He came across this small audio receiver at Staples that I use on the television in the bedroom. This allows me to use my bluetooth earbuds so that I don't disturb my husband when I'm watching TV while he's trying to sleep. I wear my bluetooth earbuds and we're both happy campers. That got him thinking about his metal detector again so he got if out after having stored it for several years. It brought him to this solution. Plug the 1/4" plug into the detector's headphone jack. Then, plug the 1/8" plug on the bluetooth audio receiver into the other end. Next, he pairs the bluetooth earbuds with the receiver and voila'. A wireless connection for him to use his wireless earbuds for his metal detector. I was just reading this back to him for clarification and he said, "Works good too." So now I'm left without my wireless connection. Fear not... he can just get me another receiver. But NO...Staples didn't have the bluetooth audio receiver anymore. Never fear. He found another one just like it. Where else??? Best Buy. We always come back to our favorite store for what we need. He doesn't miss Radio Shack quite as much with Best Buy around.

This adapter worked perfectly for me! I got an old 8 track tape player/recorder at a thrift shop and didn’t have any speakers to test it with. It had the old headphone jack so I figured I could test it with headphones but alas my headphones had the tiny plug. So I bought this adapter and Voila! I was listening to old 8 track tapes. What a trip down memory lane. And it didn’t cost me much! Thanks Best Buy!

Ordered this for my son to use in his music class at Elementary School. Arrived at the store to pick up, and decided to buy the remaining four in stock to donate to the school (as many kids still did not have access to these). The associates were wonderful, knew right where they were located, and were a supporting ear in discussing the need for continued funding for our music & arts programs in schools.

It fit the device perfectly. Cost was reasonable. I could have bought two right away.

So your kids are learning the piano, you really don't want to hear it, and don't want to drop $100 on professional headphones? Buy this jack for $5, put them on a set of their existing wax-covered ear buds, and plug it into the 1/4" jack on the keyboard. Voila! You're back to watching the game in peace. (And every so often, tell them they're doing a great job. It's just good manners.)
