I have water on counter when I fill to make coffee and also when I pour a cup. The pot does not have automatic turn off. I have been spoiled by not having to think about turning it off. I have already burned the pot.

Coffee spills when coffee is poured into a mug. When making a full pot of coffee, the unit clogged. Unfortunately this particular coffee maker was not worth the $10 price.
