It does what needs to do, just like any other shredder. It overheated the first time after maybe 10 minutes of non stop paper. And thats ok, this shredder is not desing for on going paper. When overheated, it wount allow you to insert more paper, just give it maybe 2 or 3 minutes and shredd you go again. Overrall I'm happy with the purchase, we use at home.

This is, by far, the best shredder I have owned. I have put as many as 5 sheets in it at one time and it easily reduced them to tiny squares. I don't usually have a need to shred 10 copies but I'm sure this machine can handle it.

Excellent product. Easy to use although the area where the paper to be shredded could be bigger, making it easier to insert the paper. Very quiet, large capacity in the shred bucket, and good for shredding up to 10 sheets at a time, saving time. I feel I made a really good choice in purchasing this shredder. My 100 year old aunt does my shredding and she loves it. I recommend it without hesitation. And so does she!

I love this shredder. Its much more quiet and smooth compared to my last one. Its easy to empty and it alerts you when full.

Excellent shredder very quick, easy to use, does a good job. This is our 2nd one that we have purchased. The first one lasted over 10 yrs.

GREAT, I got this one to replace an older insignia one that last for 6 years, and I have to say this one is better. Better design snd better working. I did allot of grinding/shredding and it handled it easily with no over heating and I even did 8 pages at once and it smoked it. It is also great for security purchases, it cuts the paper up into little confetti like pieces. My highest recommendation.

We've been needing a new shredder for some time. We chose this model because of the features, the ability to roll, front pull out drawer to empty the material and the fact most all of the reviews were favorable. I did try to shred one credit card and wouldn't try it again. But it shreds quickly and without too much noise. We like it.

The Microcut shredder is great where the cuts are tiny enough that it takes time to empty out the basket. 4* for that. 1* for cutting the credit card part...it's not as fine. Bigger pieces and still see name. Also the motor doesn't stop. Initially it did but after it kind of stays on even when it looks like the paper all went down. I hope that is normal. Also lots of paper dust. The bin sticks and need to pull hard for it to come out.

great shredder!! would recommend to anyone needing a good home shredder!

The shredder was purchased to replace a ten year old shredder. The shredder is much quieter than my previous one and can shred more pages at a time. The smaller shredding slot designed to shred credit cards does not shred the cards very well. But credit cards shred well on the first pass in the larger paper slot. Revoving the waste container could be a little easier process.

I shredded 17 file boxes full of old papers using two shredders. The first one started dying after 7 boxes. I bought this to replace it. It shreds to very small pieces...no way to piece anything back together like my old shredder. It's quick and pretty quiet for a shredder.

I've owned a lot of shredders. This one works great so far. It's quiet, fast, shreds multiple sheets at a time without clogging, does everything as advertised. So far it's better than my last shredder. Ask me again a year from now how it works. I'll have a better idea then. If I remember, I'll come back and update this review.

I bought this shredder after looking at several reviews. This shreddar surprised me. I had boxes of paper to shred and it went through without a problem. I didn’t want to damage the shreddar so around 15 minutes I would stop and take a 3 minute break and keep going. The shreddar never heated or slowed down. The paper was cut very small. I did not put a bag per instructions so there was a lot of paper dust on top of the basket when I would empty it. The only bad thing is that on the back there appears to be an opening for the motor to get air. The opening is covered with what appears to be a small metal chain fende. Well, that part makes some noise by rattling. I believe it’s a manufacturer defect. They should have used some washers or bushings to help with the vibration to minimize the noise. In summary, I was surprised at all the paper I continuously put through it and it kept up. I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for that metal part that makes noise in the back, I have to hold it with my hand to minimize the sound.

It shreds the paper very good and fine. it's very fast, to me it's not too loud a paper sweater. I'm glad I found this one gotten other ones I buy in a pass that I bought cheap also they did not thread very good at all. I'm very happy with this paper sweater.

Our old shredder died after ten years, and we replaced it with this one. It is quiet and handle multiple sheets without issue.

Quick, quiet, easy to assemble, operate and empty. Rolls easily from one location to another. Love clear window so you can tell when time to empty. All in all, the best shredder we’ve ever had. Happy to recommend to family and friends..

I had simple single page shredders with no attached baskets and i had a box of papers to dispose of with sensitive info. This machine lets me do 10 at a time and destroy old ID cards. Its easy and if you do jam it up, its not difficult to get unstuck.

I love my paper shredder it's fast and my old shredder died on me, this product is wonderful, it gets the job, it's fast efficient and great product for home or office, this shredder doesn't jam amazing.
