Instead of buying a longer cable, you can benefit from using this usb extension cable. It will likely cost less then buying a long USB cable as well. I am using mine to extend the reach of my wireless mouse signal. My Desktop Tower is out of view and I'd like to keep it that way.

I bought these to use when I travel to hook up my IPad to charge up while I work or watch shows for extended periods of time. The extra length is handy in overseas hotels/motels where power plugs are scarce and far to reach from bed. I carry it with me everywhere I go.

Perfect length for what I needed. Used to make a communication tv in a manufacturing business and hooked up a usb stick to the one end. Tv mounted to a wall and the usb is at a desk on the other side. Works perfectly. No network connection needed.

this cable works as expected. Note that it is usb 2.0 and will NOT work if your TOTAL cable length is great than 20 feet, i.e. 12 feet plus whatever your current cable is. Otherwise, well worth it if you need additional length on a usb 2.0 cable.

Adding this 12 foot USB extension cable has been exponentially more helpful than I ever could have imagined! The extra slack added to my charging cable has allowed me to move freely while charging my phone's without being stuck right next to the wall!

Since I travel and am often hooking up to a host's Internet from my RV, having this cable allows me to place an extended antennae on the other side of the RV from my desk. Having a longer extension like this one keeps me from having to daisy chain several shorter cables. It does the job well.

This cord is of good quality and length. It is a bit pricey for my taste, but great for immediate need.

Needed an extension cable for supplying USB power to an iPhone 6+. I knew I could find it at Best Buy. bought to extend the length of the keyboard chord for my parents because they had trouble using the new keyboard and didn't like it so I switched them back to their old one and bought this extender so they could use the old keyboard that they loved

This cable works really well, especially for the webcam it's hooked up to. I can place the camera on a tripod, and put the PC in another location. It works really well for business meetings and web-conferencing, where wireless connection is not feasible.

These little extensions are just what you need if you have a computer on the floor and need USB at your fingertips on the desktop. I use mine for an iPhone and another for an external hard drive on the top of my book case.

bought this USB cable as an extension for my iPhone charger. The shorter charger cables are inconvenient at hotels and in various rooms at my home. This cable allows me to charge my phone and be within reach of the phone.

Thai cable worked well for this purpose. It is a full capability USB cable and will hamdle a full RS 232 device with a proper converter. It is well constructed and sufficiently shielded for a high power RF environment.

Bought this extension cable to locate my Robo 3D printer off of my desk. Plugged right in, works as it should. Recommended for anyone wanting to locate a printer farther away than supplied 6' cable. No pic acc/ its kind of spread out across back of desk.
