So far so good. I was advised by the tech to let sit for 12 to 24 hrs due to it being transported standing up. The freezer is ver spacious, comes with ablight and lock. And as of this review it is operating well in my garge.

I recently purchased the 14.0 cu. ft. Insignia chest freezer from Best Buy, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. First and foremost, the freezer is incredibly spacious, offering ample room to store everything I need with ease. It’s perfect for bulk storage, and I love how organized I can keep everything inside. Another standout feature is how quiet it is. Even with its large capacity, it operates almost silently, which is a huge plus in my home. I’ve also noticed that it’s very energy-efficient, which is important to me as I try to keep my utility costs down. I also have to give a shoutout to the Best Buy delivery team. They were polite, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure the freezer was placed exactly where I wanted it. The entire process—from purchase to delivery—was seamless, making this a great experience overall. If you’re in the market for a reliable, spacious, and efficient chest freezer, I highly recommend the Insignia 14.0 cu. ft. model. It’s been a fantastic addition to my home!

Check for damage before taking home! Had it shipped to store. After getting home and unboxing I noticed the corner of the lid was damaged. I called the customer support. They told me to bring it back for refund, but could not tell me when/if I could get another one As was showing temporally out of stock. Didn't want to load and unload by myself again so decide to keep as the damage didn't affect the seal of the lid. That is my reason for knocking 1 star off. Caught during a deal of the day sale. Pleased with the size of the freezer. Used this to replace 2 smaller freezer. Very Quiet. The light along with 3 wire baskets is a nice addition as well. The green indicator light is nice and bright making it easy to tell that it has power. Overall for the money this can't be beat.

We sell frozen products and have had a number of freezers over the past 15 or more years. Some keep on keeping on, some have quit, one (US) brand being worse than others. They all rust, especially on the inside around the bottom. I'm delighted with the two Insignia units that I bought on Deal of the Day for a very economical price. The internal shell appears to be aluminum, so the rust issue shouldn't be a problem. I did run a bead of silicon around all of the joins in the internal shell, as I've had issues with mold starting after a defrost or two. By sealing the joints, it makes it waterproof. I'm a little surprised that this doesn't happen at the factory TBH. I'm delighted with these two freezers, they hold a deep cold, and 14 cubic feet is an ideal size. Highly recommended!

Im in love with my new deep freezer. While I had reviewed the dimensions for it I was delighted to see that it was larger inside than I had anticipated. Before purchasing I went over all of the negative reviews and was pleased to see that most were about delivery and install, less about the product itself. Though the lid does get quite cold its not a concern. Still i recommend purchasing the insurance for it just incase something malfunctions later on. Summer is coming up and my garage gets insanely hot so i will see how well it holds temp then. High hopes so far :)

Exceeds expectations- freezer is really big, spacious and great for home use with kids or large family. It was delivered on time, set up was just a little over 5mins.

Been such an amazing deep freezer, has saved us so much time and space in our main freezer. The three baskets give us a chance to have our main items up top and keep the longer stock items on the bottom! All I know is if we need another one, it’s def going to be this one! The pictures provided are from almost 3 years later!

Everything about this chest freezer was correct The light when you open it makes you feel motivated to cook the lock and door handle are easy to install the price was nice and the quality is great it’s eye catching but not an eyesore I would definitely recommend this freezer

Great product. Big enough to store a whole cow. Easy to move around with the wheels underneath. It also has a defrost switch. It also comes with 2 keys to lock it. Recommend it 100%.

I did a lot of research on which freezer I wanted to buy as we have our first baby arriving soon and need it for milk and meal prep. We got the 14 cubic foot one. This freezer has been great! I think we’ve had it about a month and haven’t had any issues

Working great! Holding 0 to -1 on the recommended setting; does not run constantly. The outside sides do get a bit warm when unit is running frequently, so make sure you have an extra ~10 inches on each side for ventilation in summer months. Because of a previous review, I did purchase the GeekSquad coverage, but hope not to need it. Delivery was available 3 days after purchase, which is a huge plus right now since no big stores have any large freezers in stock & most brands are a 30+ day back order.

I absolutely love this garage chest freezer. I have a 1/2 a beef and a 1/2 a hog and other things in it and it works perfectly. It also has an awesome led light that is a big help. Excellent choice & would highly recommend this. I also researched garage chest freezers for two weeks and this was best one per reviews and price.

I purchased his freezer to help alleviate the freezer in my kitchen. It was one of the best decisions that we’ve ever made. It chilled everything nicely and it’s very spacious. It helps me keep my groceries organized. If you are considering a deep freezer for your garage or basement I highly recommend this one.

As a mom of 3 boy's and a busy schedule, I needed a bigger deep freezer because I could only go shopping ever six weeks. So this is a perfect sized for my family, all of their snacks fit. I don't have to worry about leaving work to pick up small portions snacks.

this has been a great addition to our home and it saves power a lot. frozen food storage has been easy because of this freezer.

I love having extra space for my frozen goods, it is very quiet, the interior light is a nice addition. I'm very happy with this freezer. I highly recommend this product!
