The Insignia 14.0 Cu. Ft. Garage-Ready Chest Freezer does exactly what it says: it freezes stuff. It’s basically a big icy cave for all the bulk food I’ll probably forget about until next year. The three baskets on top are great for pretending I’m organized, and the LED light makes it feel like I’m opening a treasure chest… full of frozen chicken. Now, the “lock” is a joke. I think a determined toddler or raccoon could outsmart it. Also, this thing is louder than I expected—sometimes I think it’s trying to communicate with me in freezer Morse code. But hey, it’s cold, it holds a ton of food, and it hasn’t quit yet.

This freezer is the first freezer i have bought,so far it’s a really good freezer,and it Works really well for me because i sell food,and normally i get a lot ordered,you can fit a lot of food in the freezer,i recomend it a lot!

Having purchased multiple Insignia freezers, I can say they have all been reliable. The 14 cf chest model can easily fit a half cow using baskets and boxes to organize and still have extra room to spare. It also has a light in the lid.

Takes up much less space than expected. Best quality freezer for its price.

This was my first best buy purchase ever. I bought two of these freezers to fit a whole cow in. Together, they fit 850# of meat with room to spare. They came packaged very well, and pickup process went smooth as silk. One month in, and i can say it was a 10/10 experience.

Check for damage before taking home! Had it shipped to store. After getting home and unboxing I noticed the corner of the lid was damaged. I called the customer support. They told me to bring it back for refund, but could not tell me when/if I could get another one As was showing temporally out of stock. Didn't want to load and unload by myself again so decide to keep as the damage didn't affect the seal of the lid. That is my reason for knocking 1 star off. Caught during a deal of the day sale. Pleased with the size of the freezer. Used this to replace 2 smaller freezer. Very Quiet. The light along with 3 wire baskets is a nice addition as well. The green indicator light is nice and bright making it easy to tell that it has power. Overall for the money this can't be beat.

We sell frozen products and have had a number of freezers over the past 15 or more years. Some keep on keeping on, some have quit, one (US) brand being worse than others. They all rust, especially on the inside around the bottom. I'm delighted with the two Insignia units that I bought on Deal of the Day for a very economical price. The internal shell appears to be aluminum, so the rust issue shouldn't be a problem. I did run a bead of silicon around all of the joins in the internal shell, as I've had issues with mold starting after a defrost or two. By sealing the joints, it makes it waterproof. I'm a little surprised that this doesn't happen at the factory TBH. I'm delighted with these two freezers, they hold a deep cold, and 14 cubic feet is an ideal size. Highly recommended!

I did a lot of research on which freezer I wanted to buy as we have our first baby arriving soon and need it for milk and meal prep. We got the 14 cubic foot one. This freezer has been great! I think we’ve had it about a month and haven’t had any issues

Great freezer! I’ve only had it for a month or so but it’s been nice having extra freezer space with two teenagers in the house. I like the light built into the top.

Our new chest freezer is holding the temperature we've set it at perfectly and provides all the space and a little bit more for our needs. So glad we upgraded to a larger freezer yet it still is small enough to keep in our room that's just off of our kitchen, rather than put it into the garage. If we end up moving, though, and our space availability changes, am grateful this model is garage-ready.

We went from 2 small freezers to this large one. It’s so spacious . Works great not noisy . It has plenty of room to stay organized.

Great freezer…Works well and is quiet. My only complaint is if you close it, you have to wait a minute or two before you can open it again. I guess it gets into the process of re-sealing.

Biggest deep freezer at the best price! Came in handy for deer season! Stored 430lbs for venison no problem!

Im in love with my new deep freezer. While I had reviewed the dimensions for it I was delighted to see that it was larger inside than I had anticipated. Before purchasing I went over all of the negative reviews and was pleased to see that most were about delivery and install, less about the product itself. Though the lid does get quite cold its not a concern. Still i recommend purchasing the insurance for it just incase something malfunctions later on. Summer is coming up and my garage gets insanely hot so i will see how well it holds temp then. High hopes so far :)

This is my second purchase. It has a large capacity and is very practical.

It is very spacious and has 3 baskets that come in and out easily and are very good quality. It is pretty difficult to get the lid open if you don't put the handle on, but once it's on it isn't too difficult.
