Used this with a 2 subwoofer 7.2 HT setup and works great....the 15 foot length is nice to reach the rear subwoofer.

Good cables for the price. I have used a lot of different brands but these compete well with the others. Different sizes as well as colors and other reasons made these the right choice for me. I would definitely use these again in my house.

The subwoofer I purchased came with a short cable. This was the perfect replacement; it was longer and the quality of sound is not hindered. It may not be black the one that was provided, but, who cares; it’s hidden in the back. The plus side is that it’s distinguishable and can’t get it confused with other black wires and/or cables.

Price wise this is a great cable for the length. My sub went wonky on me so I picked up this bad boy to see if it would fix my issue. Turns out my settings got all donked up on my receiver due to my turtle crawling across the coffee table and onto the remote. I wound up returning the cable but before I did I received many compliments on how pretty the purple ends were from my wife and her friends. Visually stunning cable and a great length if you keep the Sub in a near by location to the receiver. Highly Recommend if you need a cable and you don't have a turtle.

Basic subwoofer cable. Insignia brand is usually good. 15 Feet is the length that I needed. Cable works well.

Needed to supply sound to a satelite surround speaker I accidentelly cut the wire to. This cord is long and works perfectly for what I needed it to do. You cannot tell it's not the original wire by the sound from the speaker.

It's a cable! What could be wrong! Well; it's a skinny cable. So shielding from electromagmetic interference could be a problem. And since it's advertised as a "subwoofer" extender cable, that could lead to induced hum, especially if you run it parallel to the power wire going to you sub. Such are the 1 star reveiws I've read. However, I didn't buy for subwoofers. I bought for small satellite surround speakers attached to my soundbar, and they work great for that, as they don't reproduce sound in the "hum" range. AND the tiny wire fits nicely under baseboard in a carpeted room. So... as a subwoofer extender, I don't know, but for small surround speakers - perfect! Note: they're $20. If you need Monster cable for a long run next to power wires, then pay for Monster cable.

Works as intended. 15 feet long is nice. Nice product for the cheap price. Better quality ones out there but then you have to open the wallet a bit more.

I purchased this cord along with my subwoofer, though I had wondered about very the expensive shielded cables. Plugged it in, powered up and everything was great. Then, while moving speaker around to pick the best location, I noticed a hum after plugging it back into AC. Thus, I elected to return it to Best Buy and purchased their most expensive shielded cable and tried it. The hum continued. Internet suggestions said to reverse the polarity of the AC cord by rotating 180 degrees, if possible, which I was able to do. Amazingly the hum stopped. I returned the expensive cord, replacing it with a cheap RCA cord I had and everything is great. I am confident the Insignia cable will be great in most instances, unless you truly have interference, then you might consider an upgrade. I gave a 4 star, simply because there is little information as to how the cable is made.
