I looked at TVs that are considered portable, but they are as expensive if not more than this TV and have a much smaller screen. The screen size on this TV is perfect. You must buy a separate antenna but a small non-rabbit ear one fits discretely behind the tv out of sight. The TV provides a great picture and surprising good sounding speakers which you won't get with an ultra-portable tv. The remote is of good quality as well. If you are looking for an inexpensive tv for a bathroom, kitchen, etc. I think this one should be high on your list. Highly recommended.
