The sound that is produced by these speakers is acceptable. That's not why I'm reviewing these speakers though. Pairing these speakers with a computer or other device is easy enough. However, when there is no audio or even very soft audio, even for a few seconds, they will go into "pairing mode" and start looking for the paired device to try to re-pair with it. This causes the audio to cut out and miss whatever is being played. It'll even do this when switching between songs or videos, and sometimes for no apparent reason at all. This is VERY annoying and happens more often than you'd expect it to. When these speakers are connected via 3.5mm jack, the same thing happens. Between songs and videos they pop out of Audio-in Mode and start trying to pair with a bluetooth device. This, too, is VERY annoying. Overall a pretty bad set of speakers just because of the bluetooth/physical audio jack combo... it never knows which one its supposed to be on and starts flipping back and forth. I would return it but I'm well past the 14 day return policy. Unfortunately there is no way to circumvent these poorly thought out features so I guess I'm stuck with them until i purchase a better, higher quality set. Save yourself the trouble and buy a different, higher quality set. You'll be much happier with your purchase.

This system was okay at best. The Bluetooth works and the bass isn't terrible but the volume is lacking.

bought these yesterday and first the sound not loud at all.. Bluetooth feature nice but one of the 2 speakers don't even work. When I touch the cord going from the working one to the sub it too shorts out.. returning today for Logitech speakers

When you would stop using the speakers they would go into like a sleep mode and you would have to wait like 5 seconds for them to 'wake up' every time you used them.

The speaker in not wireless so it’s not as easily set up. Also, it to low until in a small room

First the sound was GREAT, But the sound cuts out if there is a long silence and you lose about 3-6 sec till it comes back on a real pain in you know were!!! If it would STAY on they would have been a Great buy. A switch to stay on is all it needs.

I have the same brand speakers already and they work great but wanted to go wireless to clean up the desk. One, there not wireless. There is only one wire not used that is normally there, the one hooked to the computer. Secondly, they are not very loud and have NO sound quality like my old wired speakers. The 2 sets look almost identical but the quality is way different.

There is nothing I hate more then giving a Christmas present and having it break two days later. My son stated he turned it on the second night and the speaker blew...ugh. cute idea, just does not last.

Got this one(deal of the day).Useless piece and did not wanted to waste time in returning the item.

Frustrating to seek assistance and get home to set up product and is all incorrect.

The big speaker shakes. And rattles. Disappointed. Feel duped by store model

Poor quality of sound. Too many wires for a Bluetooth item.

They started malfunctioning within a week of purchase.

Junk. Power connection from right speaker to sub-woofer was loose on both sets purchases. As I live 25 miles from the store, it cost me time and money to return these items. I eventually purchased another model (Logitech), which performs fine.

This speaker set's primary sound input is bluetooth. The wired audio runs into the back of one of the speakers, and it doesn't lend itself to a permanent desk type setup.

Don't buy this one. This sound system does not consistently stay on. THIS REVIEW SEEMS EXTREMLY COMPLICATED TO FILL OUT I HAD TO RE-ENTER STUFF 2 AND 3 TIMES.

Looks okay. Sound quality was horrible. One speaker was broken right out of the box.

These functioned well at first for a small office setup with decent sound, but they always had some audio popping sounds when using the audio jack from the computer. I attributed it to a bad cord but didn't bother with it to much since I normally used it in Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth connection worked great for a couple months, but then completely stopped working. Within a day the whole system now won't turn on. Dumping them in the trash & will avoid Insignia in the future.

These speakers do not work with a computer. Everytime you want to listen to something with audio, you have to turrn them on. This speaker set does not auto sense that the computer is on. They "time out" after 10 minutes and do not restart. So if you work at a computer, you will not hear system noises and if you are just working away and start something that has sound - no sound. Lame.
