It could possibly have been because I overloaded the fridge and put too much it in at one time. Geek Squad plan covered the replacement.

Great fridge for home office

For convenience, I use it mostly to store bottled water. I usually store a little more than a dozen 16 oz bottles at a time. There are a few plastic holders inside the door to hold sodas and/or other same size beverages. The holders can easily be removed if not needed. At times, I keep a few small snacks in the fridge, like string cheese and whatever.

I would assume that is the coolant keeping it cold but if you sit close to it like I do you will hear it
