I thought it might be the outlet so I plugged it in another and it worked for a day or two and then stopped again and hasn't worked since. I reached out to Best Buy via chat and they said they would honor the warranty and that I did not need to bring the unit into the store and would just need to present my receipt. I went to the store and was told I did need to bring in the unit. Unfortunately I just had major surgery and wasn't able to lift more than 5 lbs for 8 weeks. Suffice to say I now have had a non working mini fridge in my garage for a year. I want to replace but I am wary about spending another $100 on a fridge that might go caput. I have an insignia freezer which I purchased a year before the fridge and it has worked perfectly. TBD!

It came in less than a week and the box was in fine shape. However, upon opening it, there was a large crease in the front panel that was obviously during the manufacturing process. I ended up returning this to my local Best Buy and getting the same model but in black that they had in stock. I opened that box at the store to ensure it was free from damage, which it was. I have now owned this same model in black for over a month and it's part of my outdoor kitchen. I can happily state that this machine runs quiet and cold, even with outdoor temps around 90 degrees. I like the can holders in the door that jut out at an angle for fast access to a can of my favorite beverage. The Best Buy employees lamented to me that these do get returned often due to cosmetic damage, and for that reason, I recommend buying in store and viewing the fridge before taking it home.
