Super fast connections for transferring files and backup. Easy to install. If I had more slots I'd buy more of these.

I've yet to have an issue, but there isn't really room for a bare-bones peripheral to exceed my expectations (sorry BB, but I AM glad you had one on hand, 5 star for availibility). Transfer speeds and capabilities were as-described on the box. It would have been nice to have an internal USB connection I could run to the front of my case, rather than have all my USB 3.0 inaccessible on the back...but in the time I would have waited on shipping, I could have just imaged the drive over a 2.0 connection.

I have a custom case that I have used for years, but just swapping out the motherboard and CPU whenever I the old one failed or I wanted to upgrade. This gave my system the USB 3 ports needed for my external hard drive enclosure. Now the nightly backups complete faster. The card has no issue with Linux. The system began using it without any need for drivers or software. Linux does this better than Windows now days.

My computer only had USB 2.0 ports and I was doing some large backups through it... It was taking as long as 24 hours to do some backups. With this card, I was able to complete the backups in three hours. I only wish the card has one or more ports than the two supplied...

My USB headphones kept disconnecting while I was using my computer, and it turned out that the actual USB port had become loose. I was already using all the other USB ports on my PC, and I needed to get more. I could have gotten a USB hub, but since I had an open PCI-E x1 express port open I opted to get this instead.
This card sits a bit close under my video card and sort of blocks the front fan of the card, but since it isn't a full length card the back fan of the video card is totally unblocked. I noticed my video card was also sagging a bit, and when I propped it up with a little stick the gap between, the gap between the two cards was now acceptable to me.
This card also requires extra power to it and requires the type of Molex connector that an old floppy drive would connect to. It's actually a good thing that it is getting more power, because the same headphones in conjunction with an USB camera on a different PC was overpowering the USB ports and was disconnecting because of it. I was actually disappointed with myself for going with an ITX build, and was unable to add this card to that PC to fix that problem.
The PC that I did add this to was kind of old and didn't have any USB 3.0 ports on it and this brought a more modern USB port to an aging but still viable PC, Phenom II X6.
My only real con is that it only adds 2 extra ports. 4 ports and maybe a slimmer shape to the card would have been appreciated, but this worked out great for me.

Tiny card
Easy to install
Floppy power connector! Lucky i had one on hand.
Error when using Oculus sensor.
Great little mid range card. Worked nicely with USB flash drive. I bought this card in store to support my Oculus setup. Works with the headset, not with the sensor. It must go back sadly.

Another item I had to purchase because the 6 usb3.0 ports in my computer are not supported by the rift. Only has two ports and had a couple issues installing drivers but got it worked out. Will be purchasing one with at least 4ports next time.

To utilize the super fast speed of USB 3.0 for external hard drives or WiFi USB adapters, this is must have for older computers that are only equipped with USB 2.0 or even USB 1.1
The return of investment outweighs the cost and the 5-10 minutes you need to install it. Just make sure you have a open PCI- Express slot.
