What is there really to say about a SATA cable? the price was definitely better than the local options. It was refreshing to see this cable at a best buy. It works, i use it on my SSD.

I wish they just included these with a new drive, but I get it. This did what I needed, and was plenty long to be able to install the new drive along with the one I was replacing. Works perfectly.

Did the Job (Connecting a new HDD)....since this was the only SATA cable sold in my local Best Buy it was adequate.....I did not really need the right angle....actually made installation a little more tricky.

After being extremely bummed out that the SSD I ordered didn’t come with its own SATA cable, this sitting right on a Best Buy rack was the most convinient thing to happen all year

Purchased an SSD drive. The computer has a port, but no installed cable. This cable fit into the motherboard and the drive and was long enough to feed into the disk chassis. Worked first time.

If you are buying an internal hard drive for your computer there is a good chance this cord will come with it. Just read the box to find out. If you have a hard drive and need a serial ATA.. this one will do.

Bought this cable when upgrading from IDE to SATA drive. Also had to buy a power adapter, but Best Buy didn't carry the power adapter, so I got it from Radio Shack. This cable works just like I expected it to work.

Bought a new SATA3 SSD and needed a new cable. Got this one last minute (was the only one available in-store at the time) which is not SATA3 rated but nevertheless seems to work fine with the new SSD.

Best Buy had this product in stock and displayed in the store. Used it to add a second hard drive to my system. Installed the hard drive, p;lugged in the cable and it worked like an OEM cable. Very simple.

This was recommended by an employee who knew I intended to use it to attempt to retrieve data from a laptop that died. The associate confirmed with other staff (Geek Squad) that this cable for the old pc hard drive and the memory for the new laptop being purchased would be all I would need. I am a frontend developer, not a pc tech. The cable was useless without a container for the old hard drive (thanks you tube). The memory had to be returned as what they gave me was for a desktop. So... yeah. The cord is great, just google everything else you need instead of relying only on in store advice.

Cable works great as expected. The 90 degree bend was very helpful as I am cramped for room in my case, helped divert the cable where I needed it to without putting stress on the cable.

you will need this cable to install your SSD drive if your adding an additional drive in your desktop computer. inexpensive and simple to install.

Added an SSD as my boot drive but kept the HDD for storage and this wire was exactly what I needed to make that happen.
