We are now on our 5th one. Yes, we are on our 5th refrigerator of the same model. We love the style and having the water inside the refrigerator but there continues to be challenges with the ice maker, such as didn't make ice at all, water overflows onto the made ice, or the ice tray fell off. On two of the replacements. the water line froze up after a couple of days and we would get intermittent usage of the filtered water. We do enjoy having the counter depth refrigerator and it still stores a lot of food. The value would be 4 or 5 stars if there weren't any problems.

If you are looking for god value this is a great option. If you are looking for fancy, not it. Also, top doors do not close as tight as other brands

The openings for cooling air located at the back so you can not install it touching wall if you care about how it will work. Actually installation instruction calls for 2 inches between fridge and the wall. So it will be 28+2 inches depth. All refrigerators I had recent years have vent openings at the front, under freezer and could be installed all the way to the wall. Also it is not stainless steel, checked with magnet. Just got it today, time will tell how it will work. Price is very attractive, about half of competitors.

All the local appliance repair shops have said they will not service because the brand does not offer replacement parts or tech support. A few have even recommended just cutting the losses and buying a new refrigerator from a reputable company.

It’s only May and the water dispenser and ice maker both do not work. I’ve been trying to get this fixed for over a week now and Best Buy is now saying they cannot find someone in my area(major city) to come look at it. It’s a their brand of a refrigerator!!! Definitely don’t recommend purchasing anything Insignia brand.
