This unit compares very favorably. It is very quiet and does the job very well. At the price point it includes a stainless tub and is an extremely good value.

Two years in, frequent error codes.

It worked great, looked nice, fit a reasonable number of dishes, and was extremely affordable. I guess you get what you pay for. Two years in, and the dishwasher is repeatedly giving me the E4 error. This usually means there is a leak, or the dishwasher isn’t draining properly. Having taken it out and inspected it several times, I can confirm that the dishwasher has no leak, and then basin is effectively draining. Most older model dishwashers had an option to force the drain function, but seeing this is digital, it lacks it completely. Every time this happens, I have to disconnect the dishwasher, dump the extremely minimal amount of water in the basin, and reconnect it, praying that it doesn’t error again. In this day and age, with the cost of appliances being what they are, it’s absolutely unacceptable to pay this much and have it fail within two years. My prior Frigidaire lasted 10 years for the same price. My suggestion? Avoid this one at all costs.

Great dishwasher for the money

It was not hard to install ourselves once we got our old pipes updated. It is the quietest dishwasher I ever had. It does a great job cleaning and the only con I can say, (and it is not a problem) is that I have to leave the door open a bit to let things dry. I would recommend it to anyone for an inexpensive good dishwasher.

It is also so quiet, the first time I used it I had to put my ear next to it to make sure it was running. The flexibility for rearranging the loading capacity is awesome. I would recommend the Insignia dishwasher to anyone.

The dishwasher is extremely quiet compared to the previous dishwasher. I've had to ask my several times if it was running. The SS tub, convection heating element, and easy-to-clean filters are a major plus. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for quality features and save money.

Only one small concern is, after the cycle is complete, I see water/ condensation on the walls/tub. I feel like I should towel dry it, to keep it from rusting. Other than that, it is very quiet & cleans great.

So much quieter than the old one and, of course, what a better job of cleaning. As with all of the new dishwashers, it does take a long time but that is because of federal regs.

It is VERY quiet, there are three racks and the rack layouts are excellent. It washes well and dries beautifully and doesn’t take forever. We’ve been using it almost daily for a month are quite happily surprised at the quality.
