will not do HDMI 2.0 needed for 4k flatscreen TV

If you have a new 4K flat screen, these cables will choke your signal to 25/30fps as opposed to the 50/60fps HDMI 2.0 will carry. This ONLY matters if you are running 4k (or if you want to future proof) AND/OR you have an AVR that will process the content at that level. Other than that, they are fine.

basic HDMI cable gets the job done
