I have had to replace the same cable 3 times over the past couple of years. It’s the cheapest in price though if you don’t opt to get a higher quality one. The cable end metal housings break off too easily on these. They work, just cheaply made.

I totally know how this could turn out inconvenient for you. However, I must mention that by design, HDMI connectors are pretty sturdy. My suggestion is to make sure that the connector is plugged correctly and unplugged straight every time, as pulling the cable at an angle could result on damage on the cable, but more importantly your devices.
