Plugged it into the TV... ready to go. Easy peasy.

My requirement for this cable didn't need the ultra fancy gold standard cables and these work fine. I don;t have a high resolution TV or eyeballs so I rejected the twice as expensive cables. I see no difference.

Even cables can be lemons, statistically, but by and large, a cable is more often than not a cable. This is no different. It connects things, and does so without any problems. I'm using it for a system without access to BD or high-end audio, so that capability has yet to be tested. Otherwise, it performs as it should.
