The Insignia brand is always a terrific deal. A key for me, is that the technical instructions included within the Insignia packaging are always very helpful.

Cheaper Alternative

I'm sure this cost 20 cents to make in China like all the other brands of the same, but this one was cheaper.

Retail cables are overpriced, but do the job

I have never been sold on 'premium' cables, and have never had an inexpensive cable fail. I purchased this out of convenience, and although it was more than I wanted to spend, it did go on sale for 1/2 price around the holidays so at 1/2 the full price it is a good purchase. I would recommend when it is on sale.
