I paid full price cause it was past that date, so i wasnt thrilled i didnt catch that before buying. I would have picked another off the shelf if i had...but in any case the cord works as intended.

Fixed my problem

I was getting a message saying that my cable or input did not support 4K. I would have to unplug the HDMI cable (Amazon brand) and plug it back in. I bought this and haven't had a problem since.
