    As I am a frequent traveler and most hotels have HDMI TV, I bought this to hook up my laptopn(HDMI) to the hotel TV as monitor. It works great and the connections are tight. In my case I also bought a wireless keyboard+mouse combo to compliment my laptop setup for my travel.
