Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.got this to use with an ASIS WIFI Router the $229 one and the cable does not fit tightly into the socket on the router giving it a bad connection I tried both brands Best Buy sells and had the same problem with both so blaming it on the router, but if you decide to buy it I would try to slot it into a router instore to make sure its a snug fit before I buy it.

Decent Cat-6 Ethernet Cable

However, I found another one for cheaper online, so I returned this one. I'm sure it does it's job, but I am always looking for a better deal.

Long cable

I do however prefer the cat 6 over cat5 or 5e dur to long distance signal loss. If your house is like mine, i had to connec an ap to the main router to get signal on the other side if the house. Mainly nothing special just less signal loss.
