The shelves are spacious enough to hold containers and drinks, while the slide-out drawer is nice for veggies and other items. One drawback we discovered is the back panel gets a bit icy, even at a higher temp setting. So just be careful to avoid placing items directly against the back panel like temp-sensitive food or medications (that will frost up) or carbonated beverages (which could possibly burst). Otherwise, a fantastic item for a reasonable price.
