Works like a charm
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We drive a 2003 VW Eurovan which comes equipped with a tape deck/radio...no CD player. I have portable, Bose CD player and just needed a way to access the Eurovan's stereo system. The Insignia™ - 3' 3.5mm Cassette Adapter is the perfect fit. it is inexpensive and works perfectly with my Bose CD player and the VW tape deck. We enjoyed seasonal music on our most recent road trip.

It works
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it as an open box, so I it was pretty cheap. I just got a new used car with a tape player still in and going back and forth if I want to put a new mp3 player into. So I got this in the mean time. Sometimes there is a bad connection some place, I think with the wire. There starts to be a low hum then gets louder, if I move the cable by the tape part it goes away for awhile. The volume is also pretty low, I have to turn my radio and phone almost all the way up to hear and I still could use some more volume but it works. I mostly use it for podcasts so its ok with the volume but I think it would need more to really hear any music well.

Decent value for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Audio quality is always the challenge when connecting an external source via a cassette deck. This unit does a decent job for the money. The cable which connects to your audio source (smartphone, tablet, or anything else with a standard headphone jack) has plenty of length to make it useful in a vehicle. The downside is that it sometimes gets slammed in a car door. I've ruined a couple of them that way (doh!). Otherwise, it works just fine, and I have no real complaints... especially for this price point.

It plays my music from my kindle fire very well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I drive around a lot and it suits my needs. To pass the time I like listening to my various playlists from my kindle fire. The cassette adapter, when it his hooked up to my kindle, plays the music thru my car speakers and it sounds wonderful. I am really enjoying it. Also the cassette adapter allows books to be read to from my kindle. It really is good.

Works like a Charm
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 2005 Toyota Prius, it has Blue Tooth but it's only to make calls. I got this hoping I can listen to my music on my phone and with success, it works! The sound is great. I wish I got this years ago when I got my car. I highly recommend this item if your car does not have blue tooth.

Great for listening to Sirius Radio with a tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it to connect my tablet (or you could use a smart phone) to my sound system in an older model truck which has a built in cassette and CD player but doesn't have a built in Sirius radio feature. I can listen to my tunes on the tablet or can play Sirius radio channels through the built in sound system on the truck. Works great! Well worth the money.

Insignia Cassette Adapter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son drives an old truck. His friend told him about this device. He bought it and put it into his trucks cassette player. All from the speakers in his truck, he could play and hear his music off his iphone6, make and receive calls from his iphone6 . He is so H-A-P-P-Y. No need to buy an expensive stereo. Now, he's telling his friends all about it.

Good Product
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works good and connects directly but the sound peaks out lowish but it is still manageable and there is a static sound that gets louder with the audio being turned up but other than that it is very good.

Works fine and has better sound than others
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had bought an adapter like this from an auto store and was sad that it sounded so awful. A person I know had this model and I tried it and the sound was much better than the past product I had bought. I purchased this and it continues to work for me. Sounds way better than the subpar auto part store competitor and is a similar price.

No Place To Play Your Music ? No Problem!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before the Cassette Adapter, I was unable to play my music while traveling. I have an older vehicle that does not have the modern conveniences of USB Ports or Bluetooth, but does have a cassette player. It is a foolproof way to be able to play my music or podcasts through my car stereo. The price is very reasonable and the set up is extremely easy.

Gets it done better than others
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried some others and the sound quality is terrible. This one is a bit tinny but better than others I have tried. My previous one, was the same model and so was the one before that. The first one worked flawlessly until I accidentally snapped the cord. The second one eventually stopped working unless the plug was pushed to one side. Hence this replacement. It's not perfect, but, it's better than the competition.

Good option for old school stereos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My car has a 6 disc CD player and a cassette player. I didn't want to change the head unit out because I have a TON of cds and vintage cassettes. This was really my only option for playing digital music because I don't have an aux input. I was very surprised with how well it works and sounds. I only have it a 4 star because of the cable hanging out of the unit when it's in use. No way around it though. It does exactly what it is supposed to do very well.

Very low price, works well.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The adapter works as described and I am happy with my purchase. The only issue I have with it is that the wire must snake through the cassette player. If using it in a slot cassette player, it's not an issue. If using a small portable player, the cord doesn't snake through the player as well, but I it does work with some adjusting and the cassette door doesn't close completely. This may cause problems down the line, but for now, it's fine.

Almost flawless
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds fine, from deep bass to high frequencies. Sometimes it seems to loose mechanical contact head to head, so the sound fades out for a few seconds. Happens maybe once per half hour. Mechanics noise from the gear is low enough to be not noticeable when playing pop music. Can hear the gear when no music is playing. Cable seems very thin, but so far did not break.
