Well I did to allow two audio sources to use my USB speakers. This cable was just the right length to connect to my two desktops and allow me to use one pair of speakers for both. Works great.

We had to buy this splitter so my wife & I both could hear Roku features after buying the Roku device with the headphone output. The audio from the tv is cut off when using the Roku remote's output jack. Hence the splitter and a second set of earbuds.

I bought it to share audio on an airplane with my son. They are hard to find so I was glad that best Buy had them and the worked prefect and are very well built.
