This will be the last insignia that I buy. I've had to return it due to an unusually strong plastic out-gassing smell that did not go away with time. Others have this problem as well and best buy email support ignored my question about this issue. I never got a response asking what I should do about it. The odor was worse when the TV was on. Picture quality was below average. Too bad. I really liked the price. I paid $100 more for a samsung of similar size. Funny thing is that a reviewer of the samsung TV on best buy's site said they also previously purchased an insignia and returned it due to the smell.

I accidentally bumped the table Friday night it was on and the TV fell over and cracked the screen. The legs on the TV are on are very wobbly. Not impressed. Called to see if this was covered under the 2 yr warranty we purchased along with the TV and they said it was not, that we were out of the $250 we spent. Not happy at all.

Buyer Beware

It started with the screen being black (sound available) and then in about 5 minutes, the program would be able to be seen. The past 2 days all I get it sound. I just think a TV (no matter what brand) should last more than 2 years.

In the event there are any manufacturer defects within the warranty period, the unit will be repaired or replaced.
