bought this about 18 months ago and already the bulb has gone out and the TV is useless I do not watch very often as I work a lot of hours and I did not buy the extended warranty. I think a Television that you pay this much for should work more than a year.

Screen quit after just over a year

Bought the 39" screen for our bedroom and after only about 15 months the screen just died. Was told since it was out of warranty that I had the choice to get it repaired for probably more than what I paid for it or get a different one. I was very disappointed as I thought Insignia would have been a good choice for a cheaper TV as it is a Best Buy store brand, but I guess not. I would recommend buying one of the S brands, Vizio or LG, not Insignia. Not sure about the other cheap brands...I don''t think I will take that chance again unless it is really cheap.
