Posted .Thank you for your feedback. You are correct in stating that this television, which is a 720p unit, does not have the same clarity as a 1080p unit, which we also sell. At a 39” size, this should still have a crisp picture from a proper viewing distance. The greater resolution of a 1080p unit would be better suited for text or more detailed moving images, such as fast action sports or films. –Jason, Insignia Products.
