I am sorry to hear that this set did not meet your needs. There is a significant difference in the picture quality between 720p and 1080p, In some circumstances 720p is best suited, but in the event that is does not, the 14 day Return/Exchange timeframe is very beneficial. Jon, Insignia Support

Unfortunately in the event of impact to the furniture the TV is supported on, it does increase the chance of the TV becoming off balance and falling. If the TV must be placed near a high traffic area, use of Anti Tip restraints is suggested, as additional protection. Jon, Insignia Support

We bought this tv as an open box, Nov. 28,2015 and by June12/16, It has completely quit working. When we bought this set it was missing the feet with no damage to the tv itself, just missing feet and convieniently the warranty was not in the box, because it should still be under warranty if it had. The input screen keeps coming up on its own in the middle of the tv screen, flipping through its options and won't leave. We decided to factory reset, bad idea, the tv took over its controls and went crazy in its menu, erasing its channels. When you try to do a channel search, it will scan for a few seconds and tell you congratulations on your new channels, but it doesnt finish the scan to give you any. Now instead of watching tv with a big blue box in the middle, we can't even get 1 channel tuned in. Never had a tv this expensive go out so quick and just out of the blue, with no warnings. The input screen just popped up and we never had control of the tv again. What a big waste of money, with 5 kids we can't afford to replace it any time soon.
