I loved the look of this fridge as well as the price. However, we had to bring it back because it didn't cool right. We exchanged for a different fridge.

I don't think the refrigerator space is working properly. I don't think the adjustment dial affects the coldness of the unit. I can't seem to get the refrigerator space to get to the (cold) temperature I would like.

THE REFRIGERATOR CAME IN DAMAGED AND CREATES A FUNKY SMELL THAT I MUST USE AIR FRESHENER ON A DAILY BASIS TO DISGUISE. THE SMELL EMANATES FROM THE BACK OF THE FRIDGE. I HAVE INSPECTED THE UNIT AND CANT SEE WHY.

Pro: I ordered online and have it shipped to me. Luckily it's not been damaged. The size is large, in a good way. For the compact refrigerator with similar price, typically the size is 3.5 cubic ft or so. This one is larger than peers. Cons: But the container on the door is not well designed. The space designed for cans are basically of no use to me. Another disadvantage, it can easily get frosted. You'll have to defrost manually.

Compared to the 4.5 cu. ft. model on this site, the Insignia model is decidedly inferior. I'd definitely get the much more expensive Frigidare model, if I could. Here is what justifies my opinion: The Insignia model is noisy, the compressor makes a clacking / buzzing sound as it operates. By comparison, the Frigidaire is nearly silent, making only the occasional gurgling sound. Door barriers in the Insignia model completely fail, dumping your food on the floor as soon as you open the door. Thus, door storage is useless. The refrigerator door holds but six cans of soda - half what the Frigidaire model securely holds. Finally, the produce drawer is but half the size of the one on the competing model. BTW, the competing model can readily be found for $30 less than what's posted here ($329) I bought this unit to replace a Frigidaire model that had it's motor burned out by a power-company related low voltage situation (since corrected).

Although when I received it, it was damaged and I was very disappointed since my son is taking it to college with him. Then we took it into the store and they took care of the situation. I was pleased. The mini fridge work well its self.

Please note, this is about the whole process, not the refrigerator itself. It seems like the refrigerator is everything I was looking for...unfortunately, check the prodict at the store! Just as other reviews said, the product was completely damaged with dents allon the side and the back completely smashed. not sure what Best Buy is doing at their warehouse, but I do not want a damaged product when I buy something new.

What was anyone at Best Buy thinking when they put this product into the commercial distribution stream without additional packaging? Doesn't anyone test to see what may happen? A flimsy box, two straps and a 1/2 inch of Styrofoam may be adequate when shipping from a Distribution Center to a Store, but not when it gets handled multiple times and shuttled across various loading docks. The packaging was barely intact when it arrived and did little except to hide the dents and damage to the refrigerator. The refrigerator itself might have still worked, which would have been a testament to the design of the unit, but the hole in the side wall which was large enough for me to stick my entire finger into sealed the deal. I wish I could give Best Buy the low rating instead of the item itself.

Perfect for my use. Love the separate freezer, ice cubes, and ice cream keeps easily. My shipping box was strong and well strapped. No Problems so far.

I purchased this mini fridge for my dorm room thinking it was going to look like the picture. It did not. The interior of the fridge is totally different than the display picture, and it made me very disappointed. It works fine, but I expected something different.

Works great, unit is a very nice size. The little freezer on top works well. Very cold

The product works great but when it came in it looked like someone had played kick ball with the box it had two huge dents in the top and on the side. The fridge works wonderful but wasn't happy with the appearance.

This thing is huge. It's more like a small version of a full size refrigerator than any compact fridge I've ever seen.
