I was looking for a TV that wouldn't hurt my wallet too much. This Insignia, although not a name brand, did just that. The picture is very clear and the speakers are loud in my room; maybe a little too loud. :) I literally walked out of Best Buy with this product for $145 (On sale and $15). If you're on the fence, I hope my review helps a little. I'm pretty picky about the stuff I buy and I stand behind my decision. WOOT!

This TV has a great picture and good sound quality. it was easy to install and is easy to use.

I bought this on black friday for about $159 so for the money is certainly worth it. Even with the price now, the TV is excellent and has had no issues for the past few months. The sound quality is surprisingly good and can get very loud if desired. Image quality is also superb.

I bought this tv for my wife's office so she can enjoy the news while working. The setup was very easy and menu easy to navigate. Tuned in to a digital cable channel and the colors jus tpops right out and very crisp. Hooked up my android streaming box and tuned in a movie. Excellent picture! Now I can't get my wife to leave the office!

This unit provides really good performance for the investment. Affordable and reliable. Good combination.

I purchased on Black Friday, great price. Set up was easy! Sound is a little low, but overall very good!

Purchased the TV for my daughter's apartment and found this on sale for less price than a comparable 720p set. Setup was easy, connections were located well so that cabling was easily bundled to hide it behind the stand. Screen bright and clear with no stuck pixels. Speakers were loud even on minimal settings and were not distorted. Remote is OK, but not programmable for other units (like a Roku or other set-top box). The only downsides were only 2 HDMI connections and OTA digital TV signals were not able to be picked up with a passive HD antenna (7th floor apartment in the city). You will need an amplified OTA antenna if not using cable or satellite. You would also need to buy a separate all-in-one remote if you don't like having to use separate remotes for each tv/video/game unit attached to the TV. All in all a great TV for a smaller living room or viewing location.

I would not normally buy anything other than Samsung, but i saw this in the store and noticed how the 1080p had the brightness that appeals to me. I watched for this to go on sale again for the same price I missed out on during a 4 hour flash sale. The price dropped again the day after Black Friday and I didn't hesitate to grab it for a Christmas gift. It was a hit and has a wonderful picture. Very nice purchase!!!

This television was very user friendly. It was easy to set up. The picture quality is great.

Bought for son for XMAS. Great picture at an awesome price ($149). Was simple to mount also.

This is my third Insignia tv. All have been excellent. Good picture, sound, easy to operate.

I got this for $160 during a pre black friday sale it was a steal! Its great for the price and if you need a basic 1080p full HD tv this is perfectly fine. Its not as vivid or has as much range in color calibration as brand name HDTV's but if you just need a basic one and with minor tweaks you can get a decent HDTV out of this.

The picture is very sharp. The base was easy to put together. For the price this is a very good buy.

For a HD television for a college student this one for size, picture quality and price cannot be beat.
