Ordered this television for my mom. The picture is really clear and the color is great. Amazing buy as well!

This was exactly what I was looking for. A budget friendly TV that did the basics. The color is great, the sound is awesome. It is a basic TV that does all I needed, which was watch movies.

This T.V. has a top quality picture. Great sound. A little trouble transitioning to remote. Instructions for set up were easy to follow. It was helpful that the T.V. itself guided you through each set up.

The television was quick to set up and calibrate the picture. It hooked up easily with the sound bar and blu ray player I purchased along with this tv.

Got this for our downstairs tv when it was on sale. It works great. Easy to set up, picked up our digital antenna channels well, easy for the kids to use. Picture quality is good as well.

This is my second insignia product. I loved my first one so much that when it came time to upgrade my bedroom TV I would go with another insignia product. The price and quality is wonderful

The television I purchased has a very good picture and the price was affordable. This will not be the best picture you can find in a TV but you will pay a lot more to get a better picture.

I had never heard of Insignia, so I read reviews, checked Consumer Reports, etc. This is for a den tv, not used often and not hooked up to Hi Def at this point. It is great value for the size. However, the instructions that came with it were wrong for hook up to a box. Neither Geek Squad nor Insignia tech support worked either, I just kept trying combinations until I figured it out myself. I don't know what I ended up doing to make it work, but it does and I'm happy. I paid about 200 bucks for the tv, and the extended warranty including tax. You just can't beat that. If I recommended this tv to a friend I would warn them of tech support issues, but once you get that figured out, it's good to go.

This is a great basic tv. I was surprised when I opened the box and It had a nice glass stand. It was super easy to set up. The picture is decent and the sound is better then expected. Awesome value!

No thrills TV. Needs TV for basement space and this filled the bill. Sharp picture, good sound and easy hookup. If you are looking for basic TV, versus a smart TV, you can not go wrong with this TV.

This is my 2nd one purchase this year and I recommend this tv because the picture quality and size is very good for the price. I purchase a Insignia tv around 4 years ago and it's still running strong.

Under $300 for 40 inch. So far a good tv for a very reasonable price. Picture quality could be better but considering the cost of this tv it can be overlooked. Very light. I have it mounted on my wall.

Bought this tv for my clients who just purchased a home and they love it. Picture looks good and has great sound. Cant beat for the price.

My tv arrived from best buy earlier than scheduled by 1 day. Very fast. The tv is an excellent choice. Good value for the money. Nice picture and easy set up. I'm very pleased with it.

Picture looks decent out of the box. Haven't done full calibration yet but it should improve things. Set up was fairly easy, navigating the menus was okay. Could have been a little more intuitive.

This tv was recommended by the store associate. Great picture, great colors, excellent definition and we are really happy with the Geek Squad for how they set it up on our bedroom wall.

Bought this Tv on pre-black Friday for 149.99 excellent price and the picture quality looks very good, since I already own an Insignia Tv for almost 3 years with out any problems.

Funny story- Black Friday, I was #20 in line and the Toshiba 48" for $150 sold out to the first 12 people. Bummer. But, lo and behold, they had a deal on these Insignias for $159! 8" short, but still a deal. This is the first TV I've owned since LED TVs became a thing so I have nothing to compare it to. I have had a 21" computer monitor and I can say the colors are much more vibrant; the flexibility in the settings are much more... flexible; and the construction is solid. It has a very heavy base and two HDMI connections (among others) and it was simple and easy to get everything set up and running. I'm very happy with this purchase!

We bought two insignia 40 inch tv's at a great price. I expected nothing but the best quality since we have owned a 42 inch insignia tv for over three years and are enjoying it.

Purchased this on a pre black friday sale. Great choice for me. I live in a small condo. just the right size .Picture is great and sound is excellent.very happy with this set!!!
