Worked awesome for 4 years then the right side started to cool down a bit and could not get cold. I still would recommend to anyone as it is very stylish and did work awesome.

Dual sides can be used for soda, beer or wine. Keep beer ice cold.

I was looking for a beverage cooler to offload the beer, wine and soft drinks from the main refrigerator. I liked the looks of the Insignia 42 Bottle or 114 Can Built-In Dual Zone Wine and Beverage Cooler - Stainless Steel. I checked the reviews, noticed about 49% were 5 stars, a couple of 4, 3 and 2 stars and 19% 1 star. The 1-star reviews basically all said the said thing, the Insignia 42 Bottle or 114 Can Built-In Dual Zone Wine and Beverage Cooler - Stainless Steel does not cool or does not get cold. The 1-star reviews covered more than 2 years saying this. My thoughts were if this was a problem for so many years, how is this refrigerator still being sold. So I bought one. Since I had to lay the refrigerator down for the ride home, I let the refrigerator sit over night before plugging it in. After I plugged it in, I let it run for about 12 hours with both zones set to 37°F. I checked the temperature. The left zone was at 48°F, the right 52°F. I then loaded the refrigerator with cold beverages from the main refrigerator, all were at 37°F in the main refrigerator and have been for many days. My thoughts were the already cold beverages would help reduce the temperatures inside the Insignia. I left the beverages for about 18 hours and checked the temperatures in both sides. The temperatures were all back to the 48°F and 52°F, the beverages inside had actually warmed up instead of helping to cool the refrigerator. The Insignia 42 Bottle or 114 Can Built-In Dual Zone Wine and Beverage Cooler - Stainless Steel may be fine for wine, as what I am reading, wine is stored around 50°F (I’m not a wine drinker, so I don’t know), but it is totally useless for beer and soft drinks. I returned the Insignia 42 Bottle or 114 Can Built-In Dual Zone Wine and Beverage Cooler - Stainless Steel. and ordered a Gladiator GARF30FDGB refrigerator from Best Buy instead. The return of this refrigerator to Best Buy was easy, Best Buy’s customer service and return policies are great.

We have this in our island and use it to store meal preps or other beverages. Sometimes we even just store foods for guest in this fridge to keep others away from our main fridge. It really keeps things clean and helps with storage. Overall quality of cooling is excellent

This fridge is the best thing I have bought convinient for my daughter she can reach her own water and juice and ofcourse when I have quest over good for drinks

We are so glad we went with this wine fridge. It’s beautiful and functional we can have beverages on one side with its own temp and wine on the other side at its own temperature. The best part it comes with keys so we can lock up the alcohol!
