The fuse may be broken, please try to replace it in the plug, one replacement fuse is included in the package.
Try to rotate the bubbles more tighten, make sure the bubbles are well powered.
The female end is only designed to connect more string lights, other high power devices may cause fuse broken or damage.

Even tried replacing the fuse--twice; still nothing. I see 4 other 1-star complaints for this same SKU. Really should have tested these before the holidays... as the return window and warranty have now expired.

Unfortunately, I didnt test them until past the return date (maybe a week after, and had not removed them from the package until then) Will try to connect with company directly and update if they actually do something

The actual plugs fit tightly together, they have fuses in each strip, and the actual cord is nice and heavy-duty. Important to note, the bulbs that come included are very warm, bordering on being light orange. Thats perfect for my purposes, but if youre hoping for a colder, more sterile white then you'd want to use different bulbs.
